help my partner and his family escape their abusive father

hey guys… normally i don’t like posts like these but my boyfriend needs help.

he, his brothers, and his mom are currently living with and are financially dependent on his controlling abusive dad jason. jason has been extremely emotionally, physically, and verbally abusive towards the whole family, for upwards of 25 years. they are all suffering from physical disability and mental illness, which jason refuses to have treated. 

not only this, but he will be forcing them all to move to new hampshire (a state away) in mid-june, making what little psychiatric care they have here inaccessible. this will also deny me the emotional support i have in my boyfriend, and force me to move back in with my mother, in the home where i was traumatized.

How to know if you have a hyperfixation. This is usually geared towards Neurotypicals.

• You get extreamly hyperfocused (you only focus on that for a while) on that one thing. • You get basically obsessed with it. • You just LOVE to talk about that, and that alone. • You want to do anything and everything regarding that thing.

Okay, so basically hyperfixation is like an obsession.

What Hyperfixation can do: • Be calming for anxiety • Help with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder • Calm down from Panic Disorder • Disassociation from DID and it’s cousin Disorders

my friend gab (zzai on deviantart) lost their mother this week, and i’m sure you can imagine how devastating that kind of loss is, especially to a 13 year old.

unfortunately, without life insurance, the family is now facing a mountain of costs in the wake of her passing (the grand total so far is $15,000) and no way to pay it all off.

this is the worst kind of stress to deal with after a tragedy, but if we can pool enough money in donations, we can ease this burden together and let the family focus on mourning the loss of the kindhearted young woman who was taken from them far too soon.
