Deeper into the Woods comic - Release date!!
Finally, I can announce that Deeper into the Woods webcomic will start being published this month, on 26th March! :D
General info about the project for new folks: The comic is an adaptation of the dark fantasy/erotica novella “Deeper into the Woods”, one of the original stories of The Fae Tales Verse, a series created and written by @not-poignant (follow and support them!!!)
(The Fae Tales Verse link)
The comic will be divided in two acts, The Waterhorse and The War General, and every act will be divided in 10-12 scenes. After the intro episode, new pages will be published regularly the 5th, the 15th and the 25th of every month.
How and where you can read the comic:
DitW will be published on the webcomic platform Tapas (both available as mobile app and desktop site). Every completed scene will be also released as a downloable PDF ;)
You can already subscribe to the comic on Tapas, where you can find an introduction episode, with more info about the webcomic and warnings. If you subscribe you will receive a notification when I’ll publish the first pages!
You can search “deeper into the woods” or “littleblackpan” on Tapas to find it, or just open this link: https://tapas.io/series/Deeper-into-the-Woods

Rape fantasies are not normal or common. Stop trying to normalize fantasizing about RAPE, One of the most traumatizing events a person can experience. That shit is not ok. I can't believe this has to be said in the 21st century. Also, something being a coping mechanism does not make it ok or normal. Unhealthy and damaging coping mechanisms exist and fantasizing about being raped to cope with the trauma of rape is one of them. Stop using rape victims as pawns in your sick argument, you disgusting freak
You know what’s really irresponsible? Spreading the idea that fantasies are sick.
Fantasies are normal. Soft and fluffy fantasies are normal. Creepy, messed-up fantasies are normal.
And this is true whether by “normal” we mean “healthy and acceptable” or “statistically common”. They’re all of the above.
This has nothing to do with coping mechanisms: lots of people have dark, fucked up fantasies regardless of whether anything bad has happened to them. That’s just how human brains work.
Purity-obsessed radfems, conservatives, and people who’ve been led astray by fake science keep trying to spread this poison through fandom, and it is both my pleasure and my moral obligation to counter it.
You do horrific damage to innocent people with your shame and scaremongering. You won’t make them have fewer fantasies. If anything, you’ll make them obsess more about these dark topics you want to suppress.
Shame on you.
–
For the silent lurkers reading this and wondering if there’s something wrong with you, consider this:
Serial killers have dark fantasies. So do regular people.
Serial killers eat breakfast. So do regular people.
Yeah, dark fantasies remind you of horrifying behavior, but it’s a superficial resemblance. You’re no more likely to turn into a serial killer or a rapist or an abuser for daydreaming about nasty things than you are for enjoying a bowl of cereal.
That’s because this “bad fantasy –> bad behavior” talk is predicated on the idea that these fantasies are rare. They aren’t. They’re very common among perfectly average people, and you never know because those people haven’t done anything that would make you know.
This is why we have responsible sexuality researchers who go out and ask people what makes them tick, and every time, the results show us that humans are a weird and wacky bunch with all kinds of fantasies, including, yes, many, many, many about rape.
