Alright here鈥檚 what the tanks look like. Thanks for everyone who gave me lighting recommendations.
In tank #2 there鈥檚 pothos planted in the back that you can鈥檛 see, I鈥檓 hoping they grow in strong so there鈥檚 a little more going on at the top. I also vastly underestimated the size of that cork round in the middle oops. It left very little room for planting.
You can really see where the dirt failed to stick to the background in tank #1 lol. I did the background in that one about a year ago. There鈥檚 also a plant in the back behind the larger log that you can鈥檛 see. I鈥檒l maybe get some type of magnetized planter to hang on the emptier wall.
Al the plants seem to be doing really well in there already so I鈥檓 happy with that. I鈥檒l maybe post an update in about 2 weeks. :)

In response to your recent post regarding lighting on your gecko tanks:
I personally keep an Arcadia Jungle dawn LED bar on my Cresties tank. I've had it set up and planted for over a year and my plants are doing very well (I'm keeping plants such as Calatheas, Pothos, Neoregalia Beomeliads, Tradescantia zebrina and Rhaphidophora tetrasperma). The LED bar does get rather warm when it's running for long but it barely affects the temperature in the tank. Unless your house is already very hot it shouldn't pose any problems for your geckos.
Ah okay! I鈥檓 okay with the heat as long as it鈥檚 not crazy, I don鈥檛 have central AC but for summer I have a portable AC running 24/7 that keeps the tank at about 78 max with frequent misting. Would the light push the temperature to the 80s?

No this makes sense! I think I was a little out off by the fact that I would need 3 lights LOL but if that鈥檚 the best way to go about it I鈥檒l do it.
My only question is if you mean 4-6 inches into the tank or would I need to place the light 4-6 inches above the mesh?
Thank you so much for all the help!!
So it鈥檚 been a really long time since my last post. I am posting now hoping to get some answers to a couple questions I have about lighting in planted bioactive terrariums. I have two 18x18x24s. One is a crested gecko and the other is a gargoyle gecko. I feel like maybe I am overthinking, I have researched quite a bit and have found myself even worse off knowing what to get. 馃珷
Currently I have mini deep domes on them. They have ceramic heat emitters in one side (attached to a plug that turns it off when the thermometer reaches 75 degrees F) for winter as my house gets really cold for them. I鈥檇 like to keep these if possible as I have found them to be incredibly useful for heat without light at night when it is coldest. The other side has Reptisun 5.0 for uvb on a timer. They are not planted yet.
So here is what I am hoping for:
-Keep CHEs
-Have UVB available
-Will keep my plants healthy
-Will not make temperature too hot
It seems so simple but feels so hard LOL. I am willing to purchase different fixtures for whatever will work best. I am open to any ideas.

As much as I want to support ethical farming practices I will be buying the cheapest bag of frozen chicken thighs as much as the next frugal/poor person which is why animal welfare needs to be legislated, not left up to the invisible hand of the free market or some bullshit. Invisible hand of the free market finds itself around a lot of throats.

My boyfriend pointed out that every picture I take is Dodson on a log. He likes to be tall and I like the background better 馃槀
