I can’t believe I have to make a post about this but I made this blog FOR ME. I had two comments made on two separate posts today (One post I took down) and I thought I’d address this. I made this blog because I’ve DEALT WITH PERVS my entire life. Starting at the age of ten (I was unaware at the time the man was being weird.) Not just the one I have spoken about on here. I relate to Delores because she is seen as nothing more than an object by Humbert. Thats why I don’t refer to her as “Lolita.” and why I don’t post anything s*xual,etc. I CLEARLY state in the pinned post that I am a fan of the acting,fashion and 1940’s aesthetic. Along with the fact that I made the blog to process some unresolved trauma of my own. 98% of the caption’s that I POST to the photos of Dominique Swain playing “Dolores Haze.” are related to me,myself and I. Sorry for the rant. It’s just been a bad day. Anyways,I hope you guys have a good day. ❤️

i usually think girls that romanticize this movie ‘lolita’ are disgusting weirdos, but scrolling through your blog, i love that you don’t see it as a love story.

Aww! Thank you. I don’t think all girls who associate it as a “Love Story.” are necessarily wiredos. I think most just don’t seem to understand that Humbert was a pedo and the narrative is from his sick and twisted pervert mind. The book MAKES THE POINT VERY CLEAR! Lol!
