Starwood + UNICEF = Check Out For Children

Starwood Hotels & Resorts launched its Check Out For Children initiative in partnership with UNICEF in November 1995. It’s a simple idea where guests are invited to donate $1 US or equivalent upon departing the hotel. As of last year, Starwood has raised over $25 million for clinics and schools in impoverished regions. 

Guests can also participate in philanthropic causes when booking Starwood’s upscale St. Regis properties through the St. Regis Aficionado program.
