Is Steve Rogers still reserved? He's on the taken page as reserved, but he was there a week ago too.

hello! he is indeed i’m afraid. things have been a bit delayed/slow due to other commitments and work schedules but he is still on reserve, sorry!

i am interested but i don't quite understand the doc timeline. some of it is canon events and some isn't? i'm just a little confused

apologies! i am planning on editing the timeline a bit to have a colour coded key so key events can easily be jumped to. but for now, yes, some mcu events are canon, however they just take place during different years. as a quick example: 

2014- the avengers ( and justice league ) meet properly and fight in THE BATTLE OF NEW YORK.  2015- SHIELD falls & HYDRA revealed.  2016- events of ULTRON occur. 

however, CIVIL WAR DOES NOT HAPPEN. a version of it will eventually happen in the future of the server, but given events, it’ll be different and more comics inspired, as will most future event arcs. INFINITY WAR AND ENDGAME ALSO DO NOT OCCUR. 

2019- THE CRACKENING OCCURS  2020- UNIVERSAL ‘REBALANCE’ ESTABLISHED

those are the ‘important’ mcu inspired events to take into account, all of the rest on the document, for the most part, are events important to specific characters and are simply on the doc for easy access! if anything is missed, it is to allow for muns of specific characters applying to add in what they want. ( this can be mcu or comic inspired events! )

She grew up learning English, Mandarin and Cantonese and excelled in all her classes. Tragedy struck her family when her parents were killed by hit men when she was in middle school, and she was sent to an orphanage. This didn’t sit well with her at all, and she ran away to live in an abandoned mall rather than be pitied as an orphan and adopted into a new family. It wasn’t long until she was chased from the mall by security and discovered that she had mutant abilities. She was able to use her bright explosive energy powers, which she affectionately called her *fireworks*, to evade capture and eventually earn some money as a street performer. When the M-Squad came after her because of her powers, she was rescued by X-Men members Dazzler, Psylocke, Rogue, and Storm. She followed the women for a short while and ended up at Xavier’s School for the Gifted, where she was able to learn and expand her powers. Her gymnastic background coming in handy, she found herself to be skilled in combat quickly. When the crackening took place, Jubilee was terrified to find herself face to face with an incredibly powerful, dark version of herself. She was paralyzed with fear in their fight and barely made it out alive, only owing her life to Wolverine who had become like a father-figure to her and helped her defeat her under-verse self.

biography: abigail arcane grew up in Louisiana and was adopted by her best friend’s parents after her mother died at age eight. Two days before their high school graduation, her friend wanted to do the right of passage by jumping off the town’s bridge and for years abby thought she killed her but it was really an unknown force in the swamp. She grew up to become a cdc doctor and returned to her hometown when an unknown sickness was rocketing the town.

Underverse abby killed her mother at birth and was raised by her uncle anton who had the power to manipulate the rot, a force associated with death that decays and rots whatever it touches. Anton taught her how to use the rot to her advantage and eventually she had full control over it whenever she went.

When the crackening happened, underverse abby went to explore the new world and to rot her hometown. The abby there put up a good fight and underverse abby was on the verge of dying before she merged with herself. Now abby is struggling against the voices in her head and the new powers of the rot that she doesn’t understand.

biography: after killing his mother while being born, john’s life was destined to be horrible. his father has spent his entire life blaming him for his mother’s death, calling him a killer and abusing him for years. his sister tried to stand up for him many times, but john never wanted her to get her, so he told her to stop. he first ran away at 15, going from liverpool to london and falling in love with the city.

he’s always been interested in the occult, even from a young age. his first conscious use of magic at 14 was to lock his childhood innocence away in a dollhouse. after that, he fell head first into magic, learning everything he could, trying to absorb as much knowledge as possible. he was good at magic but arrogant, leading to a catastrophic event in newcastle where he forgot to bind a demon after summoning them, resulting in the death of the girl he was trying to protect. after that, john was committed to a psychiatric hospital for two years off and on.

he’s been the con artist john constantine since leaving the hospital, going across the world to defeat demons and prove that he’s stronger than they all think. the crackening brought a version of himself that terrified him. known as the golden boy, this version of john was all too happy to destroy his life, revealing that he’d been the one orchestrating all the horrible things in john’s life. after trying to merge with him, john defeated him and cast him out. the golden boy still resides on this earth, even with the uncrackening, secretly manipulating john further.

character name: Reiner Braun character age & dob: 19 // august 1st 2001  character height: 6’2” character fandom: attack on titan ( marvel-ized of course ) character faceclaim: dacre montgomery alignment (hero/villain/also list here if alternate universe version): hero biography: The only child of german immigrant parents, Reiner had a relatively decent childhood, though he was constantly sick throughout. He was also picked on by other kids in his school, though he met his best buds, Bertholdt and Marcel, through one of the bullying incidents.

Around middle school, his parents moved from the small town they lived in to New York City for his dad’s new job. Though he missed his old home, New York City was certainly more exciting. His health actually improved, he made new friends and the blonde hit a growth spurt by the time he turned 13.

At 15 years old, Reiner’s parents decided to take a road trip through Europe to visit family and friends. They were passing through Sokovia when Ultron happened, a large chunk of the city was lifted up into the sky and there were numerous robots going around causing chaos. In the midst of the events, Reiner and his parents were caught in an explosion, both of his parents died instantly but he managed to survive when his mutation kicked in.

He doesn’t remember much of what happened, all he remembers is coming back to consciousness to what was left of Sokovia, his body still attached to some sort of giant body covered in armor. Tony found him, managed to get him out with SHIELD’s help before anyone else could see. He learned the loss of his parents and his mutant status while in the Helicarrier, it was a lot for him to take but then he had a small chat with Tony Stark, who promised him that he would help him and that he knows someone that can help as well.

That’s how he came to Xavier’s School for the Gifted. He kept in regular contact with Tony, mostly just general updates and whatnot. It was through Tony that he met Blythe, who he built a strong rapport with. With help from the staff and therapy, Reiner learned how to control his new mutant abilities and to deal with his grief. He graduated from the school at 18 years old and was going to apply for a job while he decided what to do when the blonde got an offer from Blythe, work with her for a year so that he can earn some money before making life-changing decisions.

He took the offer and that was in May, only roughly 5 months later, Blythe was dead. Another devastating loss. Reiner returned to Xavier’s School as the Crackening continued to wreak chaos around the planet. The blonde encountered his evil counterpart during one of the battles, the fight between them was severe and dealt a lot of property damage, but Reiner was able to defeat his evil self by tearing him from his nape with his teeth, devouring his doppelganger in the process.

It’s been some months since that battle, Reiner has been dealing with nightmares and secondary mutations since then, but he’s recovering. Though he primarily works with the X-Men, Reiner also has some dealings with the Avengers as the Professor chose him to become one of the organization’s representatives to the superhero group.

When SHEILD was informed of her growing threat, Nick Fury sent Clint Barton to kill her but instead she tricked him to Betty SHEILD and join her which he did. Together they became one of SHEILD’s greatest threat and was always one step ahead of them.

When the crackening happened, natasha used it to her advantage. She jumped through the portal to get off of SHEILD’s radar and found out that her other self was a hero who sided with the avengers. she fought her other half and won by a slim chance and is now taking her role in the avengers compound pretending to be her hero self so she can destroy them from the inside.

Fifteen years later, during a riot in the Belfast base, Aisling finally broke through the mental conditioning and escaped, destroying all the bases in Ireland and liberating the prisoners and assets. The Irish government, ashamed by their predecessors' misdeeds, exiled her to prevent global outrage, causing her to be in New York during Loki's attack, and saving Stanley and Betty Jones.

The elderly couple adopted her as their own, giving her a home, a job, and a family. She lived above Stanley's Diner, running a secret safehouse for vigilantes and civilians, working as a full-time waitress and cook. After befriending Tony Stark and realizing she could do more to help the world, she joined the Avengers in 2015. She gained control and understanding over the Soul Stone's power. All was good.

However, six months before the Crackening, Aisling began to have nightmares about the potential consequences of Thanos gaining the soul stone. Just as he was collecting them, she went to Vormir, with the Stone guiding her, and once the exchange was proposed, she realized the Stone was planning this all along. That for it to be safe, and the cycle of death to end, she would need to bind herself to it for eternity. Thanos retrieved the Soul Stone briefly, just brief enough to snap his fingers and cause the Crackening, just as she finally stepped over the edge and allowed the Stone to claim her as a Hostess for the final time, releasing it from the Gauntlet and condemning herself to an immortal life.

He ran with the likes of Lois Lane and Clark Kent, and was Superman’s Pal. It’s that last part that made him the ultimate target. Jimmy had become a host for the New God soul battery, placed in him by Darkseid. An event that he can only remember as a dream of a tall dark wall. This would allow Darkseid to place powers in there for later use when he wanted to recreate the universe in his image. Those powers had laid dormant until the The Crackening. The splinter and collison broke Darkseid’s connection with Jimmy, but left Olsen having to deal with powers. Powers he couldn’t control, and knew nothing about. (The undervese version of Jimmy did not have the powers, and was killed by Darkseid. ) Two people died due to that loss of control, and Jimmy went into hiding.

but that was one year ago.

Through some odd friendships, and strange mentors Jimmy learned to control what was inside of him. Now he has made his way back to the East Coast to see what might be left of the people he knew.

kal el was born on krypton to Jor El and Lara Lor-Van on the planet krypton. Sent by his father to earth as proof that their race could continue on past the planets demise, he was found by Jonathan and Martha Kent. Adopted and renamed ‘Clark Kent’, he grew up on the Kent farm, living as normal a life as they were able to give him. That is, until he discovered his powers. However, Jonathan told him that he must not reveal them to the world in order to keep him safe.

At the age of seventeen, his life drastically changed after Jonathan Kent died at the hands of a tornado, leaving Clark with the guilt of not being able to save him. Sixteen years later, Clark left Kansas and got a job working for Arctic Cargo where he met Lois Lane and discovered a Kryptonian vessel. There, he learned about his heritage and finally embraced his powers, donning the kryptonian suit for the first time

After saving earth for the first time, Clark realised he needed a normal life too, and became a reporter for the Daily Planet, wearing a pair of glasses to conceal his identity. Clark continued to protect the earth as Superman, as well as joining the justice league as one of its key team players.

When the crackening happened, Clark was forced to go up against a version of himself who was not only powerful, but skilled in the art of combat. After defeating his alternate self with more luck than skill, he realised that, sometimes, sheer power isn’t enough and now dedicates himself to learning some actual fighting skills in order to prepare for any other threat that may come to earth.

About the plot: did everyone in the world have to fight against alternate versions of themselves? Like, normal, not superhero people?

thanks for reaching out! superheroes aside, for the most part, the general public did not have to fight against alternate version of themselves ( not to mean there wouldn’t have been some form of conflict if someone met their alt, of course! ). but due to big personalities of superheroes etc, their alternate selves would be more likely to be the type to be supervillains. however, general public of course have a wide range of capabilities, meaning there is potential for their alternate selves to have been that bad too. and definitely, in some cases, their alternates proved difficult to deal with, but if anything, that provided the heroes with more people to fight, as it was their responsibility to do so and they took that charge. ( and given that main universe villains hero alternates also came into the world, it meant there were more people on hand to deal with this kind of thing! )

biography: zatanna zatara was born to the world of magic, really. it was in her veins, both sides of her family feeding into it. she didn’t know her mother until it was too late, but her father taught her the rules of magic young—as far back as she could remember.

the rules were what kept her from bringing him back when he died—though it was tempting. for a second, looking into the flames, her ex-boyfriend’s hand in hers, she was tempted to ignore everything she’d been taught. she had the power, she knew she did. zatanna resisted.

evidently, another version of herself didn’t. when the crackening happened, zatanna quickly came face to face with her underverse self. she had her father by her side—and zatanna envied her for that. but she’d succumbed to hatred. the underverse zatanna tried to kill her univer’s john constantine, blaming him for what had happened. the underverse’s constantine wasn’t touchable, apparently. zatanna was able to stop her, to manipulate her, her underverse self’s own magic exploding on her as she tried to kill her.

she didn’t regret it. it let her help go right the universes when the time came—it was a casualty she could live with.

main tip: just do it, coz it’s fucking better than tumblr and a lot easier/more dynamic and smooth on discord. 

okay but in all honesty!! once you join the server and get approved, you’ll see that there are a lot of channels. in character group chat, texts, a secondary server dedicated to threads and drabbles. and i and all other members are very welcoming and will explain absolutely any questions you might have. so honestly my biggest tip? focus on your desired character(s) and figuring out their place in this world, and we’ll help you figure out the rest! but i promise, it’s a very smooth transition from tumblr to discord!

biography: The second-half of the Maximoff twins, Wanda tends to help keep her brother in check, most of the time anyways. She had to grow up quickly as she was experimented on by HYDRA, along with her brother. Her mutant ability kicked in, further amplified by the experiments and an incident that happened when she was an infant, though she doesn’t remember it.

First it was HYDRA, then it was Ultron, but by that time, she was growing tired of being used as a tool and a weapon of mass destruction. She saw what she could’ve become by encountering her evil counterpart from the Underverse after the Crackening happened. Wanda only felt sadness for her evil half, what power and cruelty can twist a person into. Though she didn’t let that sadness override her need to protect the world and her brother, she fought viciously against the other Wanda, channelling her chaos magicks for the first time as a result of being in close proximity to her evil counterpart, who had completely given in to Chthon’s influences.

The energies given off by these two devastated the landscape around them, but by the end, the mainverse Wanda has defeated the Underverse version.

She still thinks about her nowadays, a reminder of the monstrous potential she has and she will do whatever she can to not be overwhelmed like her. Currently she’s an apprentice of Dr. Strange but still lives in the Compound with her twin.

The Maximoff twins were experimented with to give them superpowers, then used as a weapon again and again, by Hydra and then Ultron, until finally breaking free and making their own choices, living their own lives at last. It was a complicated time for him. After closely avoiding death, Pietro was simply trying to find his place in this new world, one where he didn’t have a place between mutants or men… but maybe someplace else? When the crackening happened, he was forced to face a darker version of himself, one that was mentally unstable and scarred by some past evens, that, as far as Pietro could understand involved his sister and her powers. His duplicate was more powerful, but slowly deteriorating, barely holding on to his sanity and talking about himself as a God. Pietro managed to defeat him, barely so, but the image scarred him deeply. Was that who he was destined to become? He couldn’t know for sure. hey there! rachel’s on the npc and therefore no-no list because with some of our established timelines, we figured out that she, like damian wayne, are incredibly young in this server. ( damian for example being around 11 years old ). so since they’re not 18+, are at npc status!
