He was her prince charming, the man who made her feel special and loved, and they had known each other practically since college, and although he was a few years older than her, that didn't stop them both from falling in love. But as the years went by, their marriage began to fade. He no longer paid attention to her, no longer spent time with her, no longer showed her affection. She felt lonely, sad and empty.

One day, he told you that he had to travel for some business related to his brothers' paperwork, since he was their manager, so he had to arrange those matters. You nodded with resignation, knowing he didn't care if he stayed or left. He gave you a cold kiss on your cheek and walked out the door with his suitcase. You sighed and plopped down on the couch.

You finally accepted, thinking you had nothing better to do.

You met at a nearby restaurant and sat at a secluded table. He smiled warmly at you and took your hand and even though you were surprised, you didn't take it back. He asked you about your life, your projects, your dreams, your interests and you answered him sincerely, feeling that he was really listening to you. He told you about his work, his hard season with Ferrari, his new projects, his passions. You paid attention to him, admiring his enthusiasm and his intelligence.

You laughed, you looked at each other, you touched each other and you felt something you hadn't felt for a long time: illusion. He felt something he had never felt before: desire.

You finished lunch and he invited you to take a walk through the streets of Monaco. You accepted, not knowing quite what to expect. You walked among the trees and flowers, talking about everything and nothing. Finally he walked you home and you stopped in front of your door, and he hugged you around the waist as you let yourself go and rested your head on his shoulder.

He whispered in your ear:

"I like you very much, do you know that?"

You looked up and looked into his eyes.

You were surprised by his statement, and this not only felt forbidden, it really was. He is your husband's brother, your brother-in-law, but finally after a long time, today you felt happy and even loved. You finally said something you had been thinking about for a while

You and Lando have been together for 1 year now and had met through Max. Not Fewtrell, Verstappen as you and he were neighbours, so he had seen you walking into your flat one time when Lando was visiting Max, and he swore you were the prettiest girl he had ever seen.

So, with a little embarrassment he asked Max about you.

"Max... you know; you have few neighbours here."

"Yeah, it's a really quiet place, so are the neighbours."

"Yeah, do you know them all?" he asked casually, hoping he knew you.

"Well, I told you there are just a few of us, in these flats, so yes. Most of them are couples." At that point Lando had lost hope, it meant you were probably living with your boyfriend. "Except for this girl, y/n who lives in the flat in front of us."

That's when Lando let out the air he was holding.

Throughout the weekend, Lando had looked very good in practice so you were both very excited and more than anything, he was determined to finish at least in the top 5 but obviously the main objective was to win the race and there was nothing better than to do it at home.

Finally, qualifying day, had arrived and you were very nervous, obviously wanting your boyfriend to get pole position which, although it was a difficult task to achieve and even more with top teams like Red Bull, Ferrari and even Williams (surprisingly) but it was not impossible to get.

To your surprise, the car looked amazing, it looked like both Lando and Oscar were driving a Red Bull instead of the tractor they had been driving all season.

Lando had made it through to Q3 and it was in this where you were most nervous, not to mention his parents, everyone wanted Lando to get pole position or at least have both drivers on the front row.

It was the last seconds of Q3 and Lando was in last position, you swore you wanted to run out of there from nerves, until you saw that Lando had set a wonderful lap that had put him in P1 and you were about to celebrate, but you calmed down a bit when you saw that Max and Oscar had to finish their lap and these two were also likely to get the pole position.

Finally, they finished their lap and you saw that Max had taken pole position, leaving Lando in P2. You were happy for Max because he was your friend after all, but you were hoping that Lando would stay in that position, however, in the end you were very happy to see your boyfriend get a great starting position for tomorrow's race.

You left the Paddock around 9 going to the hotel near the circuit, both of you walking hand in hand.

It was Sunday morning when you were already in the Paddock and being his home race there were more marketing activities and obviously they have to review the strategies for the race.

The weather was a bit "better" than yesterday, but the only thing you would expect is for Lando to have a great race. He was much more motivated with the support of his family, friends, girlfriend and all the fans.

The formation lap was almost over and you swore you wanted to throw up from nerves, you felt a horrible tingling in your stomach.

Finally, the race started and you were watching the screens in the garage and you saw how Lando had an amazing start passing Max in the first corner and you couldn't help but scream and celebrate like everyone else in the grandstands.

It was lap 4 and Lando was still leading, but unfortunately on lap 5 Max managed to pass him and Lando couldn't do much to avoid it. Despite this, Lando had a very good pace and unluckily for Max, he was having some problems so it wasn't really possible to make a big gap to your boyfriend.

The whole race was going very well for both McLarens who had very good race pace. It was the last few laps and they had changed to hard tyres, but you were a bit scared because behind Lando was Lewis on soft tyres so you feared that as soon as the safety car ended, he would overtake Lando, but it was the opposite as the car was going incredibly fast on these tyres.

It was the end of the race and Lando had finished P2 and Oscar P4, the whole garage was celebrating the team's results as they hadn't had a podium finish since Italy last year.

You and Lando's family made your way to Parc Femme, all smiling listening to the crowd chanting Lando's name and watching as most of the drivers like Max, Lewis, Oscar, George, Sergio, Carlos and others came up to congratulate him.

Lando came running up to you, first hugging his parents and finally hugging you.

"Babe, you did it amazing. Congratulations, you deserve it so much." You hugged him despite the barrier between you.

"Thank you love, I was so close to victory..." "Baby, you still did amazing, I can swear it was one of your best races ever. Now go to your interview, I'll see you in a bit." You smiled at him as you gave him a kiss and he pulled away.

Now you were watching as Lando stood on the podium and received his trophy, he couldn't contain his happiness and you swore you were about to cry. Later, it was late at night and you were still in the Paddock celebrating and you could tell this was going to continue for a long time as Lando, Max (Verstappen) and other friends had suggested going out to a pub so you would have to go and change into something better to go out in.

"So, Char... we're going shopping today," you said to your boyfriend as you sat next to him on the couch.

"What do you mean when you say "we"?" He dropped his phone and turned his attention to you.

"Obviously you and me."

"Love, you know I love spending time with you but I just don't feel like it today. Why don't you ask Gemma?" He said as he tilted his head.

"Baby, it's been a while since we've hung out, it would be nice to do it to distract you a bit, please" You said as you climbed on his lap and pouted trying to convince him.

"Y/n" "Charlessss, please"

"Alright, come on" He finally said and you squealed with happiness. He couldn't resist not saying "no" for so long, he always or almost always gave in.

The whole idea had appeared after a few weeks when you were on your phone scrolling through twitter, you found many fans laughing and complaining about Charles' broken phone, which had been like that for two months and it seemed that every time it was cracking a little bit more. Although you had suggested changing it, he replied that he would, then said he didn't have time to go and buy one, which seemed a bit silly to you as he could buy one from the online shop and even you had offered to go and buy him one but somehow or other he refused so you thought this would be the opportunity to force him to do it.

Arriving at the mall you started to walk around, entering some clothing shops for you and some for Charles. Regardless of the goal you wanted to accomplish today, you loved going out with Charles anywhere, but shopping with him was great because it was like going out with your best friend. He would help you pick out clothes, he would tell you how you looked —to him, everything on you looked amazing "you look beautiful mon amour, it looks like everything you try on is made for you"— so yes, you loved shopping with him.

You did the same with him, you would try to help him find clothes that matched and he would buy them, but he always seemed to forget how to match them because his outfit in the paddock indicated that.

Eventually, you would go to the shop to make him buy it.

"Charles, I'm hungry." The idea is that near the food court, there was the Apple shop, so " casually" you would walk in there.

"Yeah, me too, let's see what we can find."

Right, your plan was working.

You started walking around the shop a bit until you decided it was a good idea to suggest a new mobile phone.

"Baby, don't you think it's time to change your phone? I mean, it works, but... at some point it won't, and..."

That's when Charles started to think about the cons of not changing his phone. Even though it was broken, it still worked, but eventually it would stop working and as you were right, he would lose all his photos, which included photos of the two of you and that would hurt, so....

It wasn't just that he was attracted to her physically - because clearly, in his eyes and in the eyes of many, she was incredibly beautiful - but he loved the role she played on the show, the way she acted, the passion she put into every scene fascinated him.

His family and even friends used to joke about the crush he had on you, and although his interest in you began when he was only 8 years old, at 24 his interest grew even more. You had gotten prettier, you had more recognition for what you were doing and well, Mason loved that fact.
