The fact that people take Daenerys — one of the most magical characters in the entire series, a girl who started out as a refugee and a slave and became a queen in her own right, who has prophetic dreams and incredibly intuitive magical capabilities, who miraculously survived a burning pyre and birthed literal dragons from stone, who then proceeded to abolish slavery and become the Mother of the tens of thousands of people that she freed, who is literally the fire of the title “A Song of Ice and Fire”, who is the closest thing this series has to a legendary and even mythical hero — and think that being murdered and put down like a rabid dog after randomly going mad or being stabbed as a sacrifice so that a man can appropriate everything she’s done and achieved to be the sole hero of the story is a fulfilling or even plausible end to her arc, is not only baffling to me, but also plain abhorrent.

“Dragons plant no trees” but hasn’t Dany already planted trees based on what we see in ADWD, specifically in Tyrion chapters. We see how she’s planted the seed of revolution. I think people take Jorahs words as gospel and I don’t understand why when this chapter is Daenerys subconscious insecurities being brought out. Same thing with Jon when he has that dream about “not belonging” in the Winterfell crypts. Of course he belongs there, he’s always belonged that’s just what he subconsciously believes but that doesn’t mean that it’s true in my opinion. Anyway the main point I’m trying to make is that Daenerys has planted trees. She’s also not the first dragon to plant trees either. It’s like people forget all of history with the Targaryens so they can keep them as this ontologically, evil family. Alyssane, Daeron II, Egg, Baelor Breakspear, and more absolutely planted trees. Dragons can absolutely plant trees and I’d argue that Dany has planted the most important tree of all.

like yall no offense but they didn't even give emilia clarke a fucking blanket to cover herself during the drogo-dany rape scene. jason momoa had to call for one because they fully expected her to just hang out Completely Naked on set and never cover up. she literally had to get it put in her contract that she didn't have to show tits anymore because they would not stop guilting her into doing it, and they did this to her while she was in the middle of recovering from a brain aneuryism. they fired the original myrcella actress because she mentioned she wasn't fond of how much the women in this show were naked. esme bianco - who was in the middle of a horrific issue with marilyn manson abusing her btw - asked if she could have a story that let her keep her top on a bit more and they not only immediately fired her, they had her murdered by joffrey in a heinously sexualized way. condal & hess are annoying but so far not even a little comparable! olivia cooke or fabien frankel or emma d'arcy or bethany antonia having storylines You Don't Like is not the same as being sexually harassed on set!!
