Explanation:

Taufan is hiding the fact that he got his Third Tier elemental power of Wind because after he awakened his Third Tier power, he lost control over this power and doesn't want his brothers to worry about his condition or get hurt because of him because he cares about them deeply.

The one who knows about his powers are his friends the Kokotiam minus his brothers and they agreed to keep it a secret because they know the secret will be reveal eventually by him himself, Taufan. And it's not their place to tell his secret to his brothers but Taufan himself.

He is using his fake smile to not reveal his secret just like the time when he is using his fake smile to not reveal his true feelings of being sad because he felt left out by his brother's fusion and doing it without him.

I may have put a little too much explanation but i just can't take this(crying noises😢😭)
