Watching shows translated into your native language (that isn't English) always sets you up for a wild ride - watching Supernatural is like watching a teenage Anakin Skywalker go on sidequests.
(Sam Winchester and Anakin share the same voice actor and I can't get over it)

Who had late Victorian Scooby Doo on their 2024 bingo card? Hmm?
The idea came to me when I was thinking about Sherlock Holmes and then remembered the iconic mystery solving gang hehe

Replaying Hogwarts Legacy I thought so much about the characters and their relationship to MC - whether they are actually good friends or rather use 'us' as means to an end to achieve their goals and solve their problems.
I complained to a friend about it after playing Niamph's trial and realised:
To Natsai, we are like a cloak. Someone to shield her from her mother's keen eyes, to protect her from Harlowe and his associates while she uncovers their criminal network, keping her identity hidden as well as we can.
To Poppy, we are like a wand. Someone who speaks up when she wouldn't, who takes action when she's can't, to attack when she doesn't want to. She has strong morals and values, which she is able to enforce through us and our power.
To Sebastian, we are like a wishing stone. We are what he wants us to be - a trusted person, a partner in crime, a supporter, an enabler, an enforcer. We are by his side through everything, even when all had turned against him. To him, we are the catalyst to help him raise the dead.

I’m begging people to remember that Obi-Wan Kenobi is looks like a cinnamon roll WILL KILL YOU
…looks like a cinnamon roll will punch you, will maim you, will shoot you, will beat the shit out of you or anyone—up to and including his own apprentice, lmao!
he’s a scrappy, blood on his knuckles, scabs on his knees, broken-tooth-from-getting-punched-for-talking-shit kind of fighter. he doesn’t start fights, but he certainly finishes them.
I know he goes on about ‘civilised weapons’ but that’s got more to do with the other part of his personality people like to forget, that he’s full of shit. looks like a cinnamon will lie to you till he’s blue in the face and not have any concerns or guilt about it at all, lmao.
he’s canonically not a cinnamon roll, guys! he just has the colouring of one!

Fellas, fellas
Why on earth are you BUYING PHYSICAL HARDBOUND COPIES OF FANFICTION????
ACTUALLY WHY ARE YOU EVEN MAKING HARDBOUND COPIES OF FANFICTION TO SELL?!?!?!
IF ANY OF YOU DO EITHER OF THESE THINGS, GET OUT!! I AM NEVER SPEAKING TO YOU AGAIN.
In all seriousness though, authors on AO3 have begun to pull their works off of the site to avoid getting sued by people stealing their works to make a pretty bound book for profit. Entire accounts could be shut down as well.
Listen, I’m all for saving favorite works by printing them out and putting them in a binder, or learning how to make a book for a fanfic, but seeking them is where I draw the line.
Literally the entire point of AO3 is that you can read it FOR FREE.
It is DISRESPECTFUL for people to make money off of hardbound copies because guess what, the original creators of these fics get nothing. We are literally only writing fanfiction for our own pleasure.
Buying and selling book-bound fanfiction is also ILLEGAL YOU DUMB SHITS. It’s an immediate violation of copyright law. The original fan work will get erased from the internet.
Fanfiction is already a legal grey zone since they are works being written about are protected by copyright. Copyright holders can in fact go after writers as well as the person who sold the fanfiction.
This also goes for people who steal fanart and, claim it as theirs, and put a price on it.
Don’t make it worse.
Bookbinding fanfiction for profit is literally ruining things for everyone. DON’T.

do you ever think about how sometimes it just... takes one random message? and suddenly you find yourself with a best friend or in constant conversation with someone who lives on the other side of the world but is just as much of a freak as you are or maybe you find yourself in love with someone without a last name but with so much kindness and affection in their words and presence. crazy how life and love and friendship just happen
