Changing the Installation Path

For EA games you can set the default installation path of a game through Origin

If you have purchased a new Dell mobile broadband card upgrade kit, perform steps 3-6 to install the mobile broadband card, and then perform steps 1-2. NOTE: To access the internet, you need a Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card and an account with a mobile broadband service provider. I don't 'think' you can because all the expansions are installed and stored within the sims 3 folder on the PC when they install. I would recommend getting a third party hard drive (External) and trying to get all the installs on there, it should fit easily.

Click on Origin – Application Settings and choose the tab Installation and Saves.

In Game Library location you can set the default path for all EA games.

Changing the path will not automatically move already installed games to a different location but all newly installed games will get their own folder within that path.

The path given there will tell you where you’re game is probably installed, especially if you never changed it.

C:Program Files(x86)Origin Games is the default path.

There’s no option to set the path individually for each game. If you want to install the game at a different place then the rest, change the location of the library before installing the game and change it back after the installation is done or simply move the game after installing.

Moving a game to a different installation path

Sometimes it desirable to have your game on a different location from where it was initially installed. For example if you bought a new hard drive and want the games on there, or the space on your c drive is getting sparse and you need to free up some space, or you simply did some reorganization on your drive and want it somewhere else.

I do not recommend installing the game on an external drive or USB stick.

Up till now, you had to uninstall the game and reinstall it again on the new location, which also meant to redownload the entire game.

Origin now has an option to help with that. You can just move it with a single click and Origin will do all the needed registry updates for you.

The game will then verify your Game and move your files for the game and all it’s DLC. Be patient.

In nature all food chains begin with photosynthetic autotrophs (primary producers), including green plants and algae. Primary producers, represented by trees, shrubs, and herbs, are a prolific source of energy in the form of carbohydrates (sugars) stored in the leaves. These carbohydrates, produced in photosynthesis, are broken down in a process called respiration; the smaller units of the sugar molecule and its products fuel numerous metabolic processes. Various parts of the plant (e.g., leaves) are the energy sources that support animal life in different communityhabitats. A by-product of photosynthesis, oxygen, is essential to animals.

The daily existence of human beings is also directly influenced by plants. Plants furnish food and flavourings; raw materials for industry, such as wood, resins, oils, and rubber; fibres for the manufacture of fabrics and cordage; medicines; insecticides; and fuels. More than half of Earth’s population relies on the grassesrice, corn (maize), and wheat as their primary source of food. Mounting volumes on macOS can be done using Disk Utility.app. For some reason, Apple decided not to show EFI partitions (among others such as Preboot, Recovery, etc) in Disk Utility.app. In this article, I will show you how to mount these volumes using command line (Terminal). While CleanMyMac, MacKeeper, CCleaner, OnyX and the like are highly capable apps for keeping your Mac clean, they cannot alert users about the EFI firmware vulnerability. Unfortunately, the same goes for anti-malware apps such as MalwareBytes, due to the EFI's nature of operating beneath the operating system software. Mount or unmount the EFI system partition for any volume with a mouse click. Next to each volume, ESP Mounter Pro displays a 'Mount' button that you get to use whenever you wish to effortlessly open the EFI partition. When the task is completed, you get to view the ESP in a Finder window and unmount it.

The EFI system partition (ESP) is a partition on a data storage device (usually a hard disk drive(HDD) or solid-state drive(SSD) that is used by computers adhering to the Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI). UEFI requires the firmware and operating system loader (or kernel) to be size-matched; for example, a 64-bit UEFI firmware implementation can load only a 64-bit operating system (OS) boot loader or kernel. This is a partition created automatically when you install an operating system in any UEFI boot mode but In case of Hackintosh, It is not created because you are installing Mac on non-Apple hardware. so, that we've to install Clover which will create an EFI partition and make Hackintosh bootable.

EFI partition only boots files and contains very sensitive data so this partition will be always hidden either you use Hackintosh, Windows or Linux, but It can be accessed in many ways. But remember while accessing the EFI partition don't touch its other files and folder other than you need. Some minor changes in unnecessary files may cause your system unbootable, so be very careful while you work with your EFI partition. If you've dual boot and if something went wrong with your config and your Hackintosh is unbootable then, in that case, you can simply switch your OS and revert your changes, this will be worth step other than reinstalling your system.

The following are the steps that you can use to mount your EFI partition

Using Ubuntu

Gparted GParted is a free partition editor for graphically managing your disk partitions especially preferred default volume manager in most Linux system including Ubuntu. With GParted you can mount, unmount, resize, copy, and move partitions without data loss. This one is installed by default in most of the Linux System, especially in penetration distros. You can check it on your Linux, if it's not installed then you can simply install this with following command in Debian based OS. Just open Gparted and search EFI partition on your list right click and select mount.

Nautilus I love Debian based OSes a lot so I had used Ubuntu, Kali, etc. on past life most of the time as these OSes are easy and user-friendly. So, I have found so far the easiest way to mount the EFI partition on the Linux operating system is open nautilus with sudo permission. Another my favorite file browser is Nemo, which I love more than nautilus because it has a multi-split window and many other customizations. You can easily install Nemo and access EFI using the following commands :

Live CD If you have any Linux Installation CD near you then you can just insert the CD and boot into live mode then use any of the above message mentioned about Gparted or Nautilus or Nemo to access the EFI partition.

Using Windows

Diskpart Diskpart is default command line tool to manage the disk in Windows. This comes with a pre-installed tool in windows operating system and needs an admin privilege to run this program. (1) Press Win + R key simultaneously and type Diskpart and hit Enter. (2) Click Yes on admin privilege dialog, this will and paste the following lines of cmd one after another. In the above commands,list disk will list the available disk, if you've multiple HDD, SSD or USB plugged in then list disk will return more list. Then, select disk 0 will select a disk, this is the same as we are inserting into the selected disk. If you need to access USB EFI (If it is in bootable), then you should select disk 1.In the third we'll list all the partition, now we need to identify EFI partition, In my case, it's partition 1 because one way to easily find EFI partition is by its volume. It's always exact 200 MB and partition type is System. After selection of partition is done we need to assign a letter, we can name from A-Z (any) but not the already that has been assigned. In my case letter C, D, E, F are already used and leaving letter G, I preferred to go through the letter I. Now exit the diskpart with exit command. Then you need to restart the explorer and relaunch it. This can be done by the following command : Note: Some Windows 10 users are still experiencing 'permission denied' message when trying to access although they have restarted explorer they can use the command line to access it. Type Command on start menu Right Click and select Run As Administrator then type L: and hit enter. If you're not familiar with a command prompt then you may use explorer++ tool.

Explorer ++ Download explorer 32bit or 64bit from resources and just right click and run as administrator. Super Easy!!

# Tips

Remember when you made a USB bootable from Mac OS, you also need to install Clover to USB to make it bootable in non-Apple hardware laptop right?? It's necessary because non-Apple hardware cannot identify the Apple OS and hence Clover installs EFI so that it can be detectable.

One another good point is when your working Hackintosh fails due to DSDT patch or any config changes you're unable to boot into the system then you can use USB clover support and enter into Hackintosh on HDD, this will act all the config from USB. This may require to boot args or clover changes if you used first time while installing OS.

Be careful when you mount EFI you'll have 2 EFI partition if Hackintosh bootable USB is plugged into your laptop/computer.

Listing all volumes

To list all volumes (partitions), use diskutil list.

As you can see, there are 2 physical drives, both containing EFI partition.

If you compare it to Disk utility.app, it is rather brief.

Mounting a volume

To mount a volume, use sudo diskutil mount DiskIdentifier|DeviceNode|VolumeName.

Mac Os Download

This will mount the volume to /Volumes/<VolumeName>. If this mount point is already in use, a number will be added at the end (e.g: /Volumes/EFI 1).

Mac Windows Download

The sudo command in the beginning is very import, omitting it causes error message like

You can mount a volume to a different mount point (directory) using -mountPoint option. Beware, target mount point must exist.

2. Finding and unzipping the downloaded Praat file on your computer

The Praat website recommends downloading to the desktop. Just where you download to is a Windows setting (that you can change if you wish), and the default is a Downloads folder under My documents. So that’s where I found my Praat file in Windows explorer:

Double-click the Praat zip file, and the Praat program appears in a new Windows explorer window. The simplest thing now is to use the mouse and drag the file out onto the desktop, (or to anywhere else where you want to store it).

Alternatively, click the Extract all files link and take the long route through the file system to the place where you want to put the program:
