This bracket was hard for me. I think I remade it ten times and I still may redo it. Growing up in the 80s we called it New Wave. So it’s hard for me to call it anything other than that. A few bands might be labeled as one-hit-wonders but I know that for some of us, those bands were so much more...see Haircut 100.
Post your completed brackets here and again I accept suggestions for bands I’ve left off and bands that need to be replaced...just be nice.

I looked at top charts in the UK and in the USA and I tired to rank the top sellers by placing the top sellers as the higher seeds. In this example, Madonna, Whitney, Celine, and Mariah are the top seeds based on sales and charts. I tried to keep the top ten artists in each section based on sales and charts but after that I took creative liberties and added some of my faves. I accept suggestions for additions and replacements with RECEIPTS!
