Regarding The Talbert Files (FNaF).
Honestly FNaF as a Community need to chill and stop looking at the books as if they were the Bible, that's how stuff like this can happen.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Screenshots are real btw:

Don't get me wrong I love this fandom, but it feels like people are using the books just to justify their headcanons rather than to write actual theories.
We shouldn't forget the books are first and foremost extra merchandise to sell to kids and fans.
Unless a story talks about important characters (GGY=Gregory) and/or states important dates about key moments (ex. MCI) I don't see the point of needing to consider them canon.
This whole Talbert File situation felt very fishy to me since day 1 and my gut feeling was right this time around too. A FNaF timeline is more than possible to write without the need of any book/fanfiction (outside for some dates), I feel this is a good time to realize that.
The books are fun, buy them because you want to read a funny story of angsty teens diying by the hands of some crazy robots rather than to try to fit them in the games' universe, most of them are so absurd it's really hard to do so (but I won't deny some of them can make sense).
Adding this here as I feel like a lot of people barely know what the "leaked mail" actually looks like:

Love how Scott acknowledged this but not the PinkyPills situation. I'm very convinced Scott is unable to fire her for now, hoping this will change in the future. #FirePinkyPills

Having a moment here but I just realized something
I know it's very common to head canon timeline that Elizabeth died before CC because CC views the nightmare animatronics with stomach mouths and with baby's whole schtick.... A clear connection fr
But I just realized a possible alternative...
What if CC witnessed his dad's first springlock failure ?
I know people often place that Afton experiences his first (full body) springlock accident before he even has kids or at the least when they're babies, and it's a clear marking turn for William nonetheless that is meant to be a keystone event to start his decent into obsession against death
(and it's gotta happen during the fredbear era but there really is no like... Set date for it to happen)
But something to play with is CC witnessing the animatronic "eat" his dad (maybe even seeing his father claw at the stomach panels to try and pull it off) and that causes his extreme fear of them and adds onto him not wanting to go near them at all (because they're scary but also what if there's someone like his dad in there and he causes them to get eaten too y'know)
Of course the whole does this mean this happens right before his birthday and if so split on then William is helping someone get into fredbear because he himself can't physically perform due to the recent incident but also like how is he here with 10k stitches yadda yadda
I'll maybe play with that more later but mainly I just really like this possible timeline idea

Hi there,
Please feel free to inform yourselves about Claudia Schröder/Pinky Pills and also understand by today she just stepped down from being a FNAF artist (potentially) temporarily.
Scott also posted on the manner, but it's not really what we need to hear.
I am not making this post as an attack to anyone, I'm just using it to inform people and give my two cents on this.
But Ms. Pinky Pills has been caught time and time again making sexualized images of canon minor characters sometimes even sexualizing them while looking like children. She stated once that in her mind she thought William was a pedophile, even going on to portray him like that during one of her comics.
Scott once displayed that he doesn't appreciate pedophilia being portrayed in the franchise when he fired LadyFiszi, a similar artist with similar issues; but seems reluctant to put Pinky through the same treatment.
Within the first link, not only does it show that Pinkypills has no issue sexualizing any female character she can get her grippers on, but she feels comfortable enough as a OFFICIAL artists to go on reddit posts to admit things like she thinks about Mr.Cawthon when she touches herself and she also made a drawing + post on Twitter/X/Whatever you want to call it, that's clearly supposed to have undertones of sexualization to a REAL person and her boss.
There's also long winded evidence of her pushing NSFW junk in minor-safe art groups, and a history of tracing; but you can read up on that later in the first link.
My point is that we need to be careful about people like this- and emotional attachment or friendship should not allow anyone to handle them differently from someone who has done similar things
It also sounds like she might be moving on with other non-FNAF related projects and franchises, which is concerning.
PLEASE NORMALIZE BACKGROUND CHECKS WHEN HIRING ARTISTS!!!!!!
UPDATE: Fiszi, Sorry. Also updated some grammar issues, I wrote this in a rush.

Did you know? The animatronics of FNAF: Security Breach run on Windows!
I've recently been analyzing the intro of FNAF SB (mainly for a piece im working on - but also because im a computer scientist nerd), just trying to gather about what Freddy's POV looks like, why he glitches, and generally sort of understand how the animatronics might work!
Tumblr media
This is a frame from the intro, specifically the moment when Freddy starts to glitch out - a lot is happening right here - a lot of interesting stuff might I add, especially those messages by the left (which i am not going to get too into detail in this post, because thats a WHOOLE another can of worms) - but where I want you to focus is by the little messages around the top right corner of the screen.
Tumblr media
You might inmediately recognize the word system32 there - the common name for one of the main system folders for Windows operating systems!
Since we see the ">" symbol after system32, we can assume this is text box is a command box of sorts, and the first command that we see getting executed is being run from the system32 folder.
So, yes. Freddy, the other Glamrocks, and likely the DCA, Staff bots and DJ Music Man all very likely run on a Windows-based operating system.
What does this mean though? A lot!! This could help us understand how they work - how the virus infected and affected them, even what they're probably capable of doing - and also what they aren't capable of as well (without taking into consideration the oo spooky remnant evil spirit virus thingy and all).
Neat!! =)
I might go into another of these long rambles about how the animatronics work, im still trying to study the individual command lines that we can see in the intro. The fnaf reddit has also been a lot of help!

i am so intrigued by how much the virus strips the animatronics of personality EXCEPT MOON.
Chica and Monty, while having personalities, do not display them the same as roxy and freddy do
even in security breach, roxy's personality only shined thru truly when she was decomissioned and then was REALLY elaborated on in ruin. and the thing about that is she harbored hatred for gregory which leads me to belive glitchtrap didnt have as tight of a hold on her as he did on monty or chica.
but then, freddy and sun are clearly sentient and not infected so... what is the deal with MOON.
similar to roxy, he has much more personality but only AFTER security breahc. in sb he's still following protocols yk? he repeats lines that dont have any personal meaning, just stuff that connects to what he was made for
but in ruin, he's trying to get rid of sun and hes so pissed and frustrated and going nuts and thats elaborated even more in help wanted 2, where he's not only got personality, he has a GRUDGE. "What makes YOU so special?" HES BITTER. WHAT IS UP WITH THAT MOONMAN.

Help wanted 2 spoilers!!
Okay I don't know if this has already been considered or not, but I have a theory of who the second candy cadet story is about
The two takes I've seen is either Vanessa or Cassie, which is absolutely fair and valid bc it does make sense! But I feel like there's problems with both interpretations
The story is basically, a young girl is tricked by a witch's friendly voice and barely escapes being eaten but is scarred for the rest of her life. Then when she grows up she seeks revenge, a young boy helps to guide her through the woods, and at the end we learn she was tricked again, and the witch finally has her meal
Here's my problems with both interpretations
Vanessa. Most of this works, I won't lie to you! I was willing to believe it up until "the oven door closed, the witch would finally have her meal." We do see Vanessa get possessed, or "scarred" for life, and we see her seek revenge, potentially accompanied by a young boy to some extent, however we don't get any clear indication that she fails this goal, as the only time we clearly see her is the princess quest 4 ending, where she's successful
Tldr, most of it fits, but I don't think the ending does
With Cassie, the second half of the story fits to a T! She's led by a young boy who's later revealed to have been a trick to lead her to the mimic, who, as the first half of the story says, she barely escapes from. However, the story clearly states a past encounter with the witch that left her scarred, and it's only after a significant amount of time, now with the "confidence of age and wisdom" that she comes back to get revenge. As far as we know, Cassie never encountered the mimic before ruin, and she's still a young child when she does encounter it. And considering we see her in the basic ending getting the mask the timeline doesn't match up either
Tldr, only pieces of the story fit, and important details such as her age definitely do not
SO, who do I think the story could be about
First thing to consider, the player character could potentially be who it's about, as the player can't be vanny since we see her as a separate entity, and I don't think it's cassie as the game seems to be set pre-ruin (in the real/non-AR world sun and moon are in a similar state Cassie found them in before turning them back into eclipse, for one). And then in the basic faz tron ending, the player is then attacked by, supposedly, glitchtrap/mimic controlling the nightmare bots, which could be the witch finally getting her meal, but, the player has no known correlation with the rest of the story right?
Well
Who says the characters in the story have to be a 1 to 1? The witch is certainly a different concept from mimic, so in theory the woman's gender doesn't have to be relevent, and that opens up more options
So my thought process here was, is there any other character who we know for sure has gotten "scarred" by glitchtrap/mimic in the past, and we can reasonably assume to still be alive/likely to come back?
Help wanted Jeremy.
From what we understand he was the first known character to interact with glitchtrap, and it ended with the paper slicer incident, that sure as hell will leave a scar. And I'm not sure we know how many years its been between both help wanted games, but I feel it's safe to assume it's been enough time for him to have grown a bit, even if more so mentally than physically, and want to put an end to glitchtrap. And then let's say he's the player character, and the basic ending is the witch getting her meal.
(I'll be honest, I don't know how the young boy would play into this interpretation, so, this is by no means a perfect solution)
But also, there's the evidence that the player is Cassie's dad
Carnie saying "You look like you got kids, win a prize for the little one!" Freddy saying "you are a fazbear technician, are you not?" Which I get is played off as a joke but considering mystic Hippo says "the key is familiar to you" in refrence to the faz wrench, I feel like there's merit to it, plus the fact that the player has a vanni mask, which is a fazbear technician thing.
But the biggest thing, to me, is the secret Bonnie mask, which appears with the text "this feels familiar" and it gives you an achievement titled "remember Jeremy"
Cassie's dad's favorite is said to be Bonnie, and "remember Jeremy" is pretty straightforward I'd say.
So, anyway, I don't have a coherent conclusion to this, I've never written out a theory before so take it easy on me lol, but I had an epiphany in the shower today and needed to share it! I don't have anyone to bounce ideas off of as of right now so if anyone has any additional ideas or counter points (respectfully!) I'd love hear it! :)

“All artistic works completed within the Pizzaplex are the property of Fazbear Entertainment!”
So… Sun could easily just be messing with the player when he says this, but I think it might mean something much more interesting (and sinister).
If Fazbear Entertainment does claim ownership of all artistic works created within their locations… why? If it were just so they could potentially share images of them in marketing materials or something (like, “look at the fun crafts kids make here!”) they wouldn’t phrase it like that.
Sun’s an AI. Much more advanced than the learning algorithms we have now, more of a “true” AI, but still an AI, and it’s likely that some of the ways he learns are fairly similar.
Sun is an AI that genuinely enjoys making arts & crafts.
If, if it’s the rule in this future that AI can only be trained off of data you have the legal rights to (since this seems to be one of the things people are pushing for)…
Is Sun’s creative AI trained off of the daycare kids’ artwork?
Is he advanced enough for this to be any less messed up than it sounds?
Would he even be aware of this, and how not okay it is?

Remember I first started to write Lofi Beats to Capture Children to, around two years ago based on the entire Concept that the Daycare Attendant was built with child napping, and nefarious purposes in mind?
Wondering who could have possibly made him and that I basically said the Daycare Attendant seems built with similar purposes that Circus Baby and the Funtime Animatronics have? That the Daycare Attendant is meant to be a death trap for the children outside of the Virus? A Child-napping, and Child-sleeping machine built to bring the Children to Vanny specifically and the Virus had very little to do with this???
That he was Meant to be Vanny's Puppet from the start? To do her bidding?

So, I think it's time to talk about Sun in Help Wanted 2 and how I think a lot of people have (in my opinion) misunderstood the sass and now think Sun is some mean bully who needs a cigarette and a vacation.
Posting my thoughts under here for spoiler warnings:
I think first and foremost we need to understand that Sun has always, ALWAYS, been a sucker for rules. He had one rule for Gregory in Security Breach, which he broke and Sun banned him from the Daycare.
In the Arts & Crafts game in HW2 Sun is overly giddy and excited, a little bit anxious but clearly tries to hide it. He wants you to just follow the rules and do arts and crafts with him!
If you follow the rules, you get no mean or sassy comments and instead he gives you praises and even does the cute yippee jumps at the end.
But if you misbehave (throw things at him, eat the supplies) he gets irritated, but none of the voicelines really hint towards him being mean or sassy to you, but more of his worry about his own and your safety.
You throwing things at him: Sun sees you're making a mess, he doesn't like the mess. If you hit him with the items he often laughs at it sarcastically and tells you to stop. Firmly. Sometimes he lets out comments under his breath ("I should turn off the lights myself").
You eating the art supplies: well, we all collectively know it is not healthy. Sun obviously doesn't want you to do that either. I think at this moment he just knows you're a damn idiot since you're an adult and are eating the googly eyes. I don't blame him for getting so angry; Sun realises he is just babysitting an adult which is not something he is supposed to do.
Sun doesn't like the arts you make if you haven't followed the rules. This is where he gets sassy and mean. His rules were very simple! If anything, this just proves the fact Sun is a little goody-shoes who values rules and doesn't like those who don't follow them.
During the course of the arts and crafts, Sun is impatient. He rushes you and keeps bugging about the time. "You're taking foreverrrrrr" is my favourite line just simply how frustrated he sounds. We always knew Sun was speedy and has no patience to just sit and wait. He needs to have his hands busy because that's most likely his way to deal with his anxiety - sitting still doing nothing will make his anxiety worse, or depression, or whatever he is trying to hide.
Because that's how he is in the RUIN version of the level. Just sitting in his pillowfort, sad and depressed. Just wanting to be left alone. Too long for doing nothing, his sad thoughts and the neglect has caught upon him. He is so so sad, but let's you work on the crafts as long as you just get out and leave him to continue sulking.
He doesn't trust you. Sun says: "It's safer this way". But it might not mean that it's safer for you, but safer for him. He doesn't want to give himself the false hope of someone coming to his rescue, or he has the fear that you're a human who will hurt him again. Either of those options are just really, really sad and I think everything he went through between these two games is a worth of an analysis, but we'll leave that for another day.
In short: Sun is still the same Sun we all fell in love with, he hasn't turned into a sassy bully just because he doesn't like your art. But we need to understand he is just THAT strict for the rules, because breaking them will either get him, or you, in trouble.

You know what's gonna be an incredibly overlooked yet very interesting thing about Help Wanted 2?
The staffbots go on strike. They go on strike and attack their human higher up forcing them to run double time to fill orders, and work probably near constantly on the same mind numbing tasks all day everyday. The only way to stop the strikes is to reboot the staffbot.
Isn't that just a little bit interesting? Even the so called mindless drones have more awareness than they're supposed to. It's like the humanity of the board members leaked into the building and never returned, leading to their animatronics being full of it and those in charge having none of it.

Let's Talk about the Vengeful Spirit
Tumblr media
Hello! It's time to talk about the theory that @birdsareblooming pitched to me that has been eating holes in my brain for months!
We're mainly going to attempt to answer three questions:
Who is the Vengeful Spirit?
What's the narrative point of Michael being the Night Guard(s)?
Is Cassidy even fucking real?
so. have a google drive link. lmao

here's an observation I noticed;
When it's the grimic talking to Cassie, it's always about him/it—it's always "me me me" ("you have to find ME" "don't stop looking for ME" "save ME Cassie please" "deactivate roxy and save ME" "You saved ME") and never once asked Cassie if she's okay and whatnot
But when it's the real Gregory, all his lines is always expressing his attention to Cassie's well-being ("Cassie are YOU there?" "Cassie is that YOU?" "I've been trying to reach YOU all night!" "Cassie YOU need to get out of there!")
And in the elevator scene—the greg lines are making it all bout "him" again ("I know you did it for ME, to save ME")—exactly like the previous talking patterns grimic has been spewing throughout the whole game to lure Cassie in the basement
ALSO, the way he said "it's been trapped down HERE" instead of "down THERE" could be a hint that was indeed the mimic, it could have slipped and made an error of wording that sentence (cuz technically it is still down here,, standing by the elevator) because the real Gregory just literally said he's not at the pizzaplex moments ago so that's some discrepancy right there, the grammar is not grammaring in the context of the situation at hand
Just something I noticed

im just thinking what if mike schmidt is the son of the movie's equivalent of henry emily. i had this thought on the way home from the movie at like. 10 pm so at the time it was incoherrent, but im going to expand on it here.
point 1- garrett played a similar role to charlie emily, in that despite being watched over they were both killed by william afton.
p2- in the flashbacks, its very obvious that the entire family is in a place away from society. they're literally in a forest. it wouldn't make sense for william of all people to be there if he wasn't close to the family.
p3- the books and the game mirror eachother, so there is a chance that schmidt could be another fake name, one william recognized because, again, he was a family friend.
p4-what happens when your kid goes missing? idk probaly witness protection or an urge to seperate yourself from the incident, both reasons for the name change.
p5-(kinds joke reason) abby rhymes with charlie and looks similar to her (brown hair, brown eyes)
p6-i argue that abby also took on the role of the puppet/charlie at the end of the movie. she didn't necessarily give them life, not like what was done in the game, she shoeed them how they died. she reminded the children of the life they had before, and of who really took it. by doing that, in a way, she gave them that life back. she gave them their real personality back, one not influenced by william. she cut them from his influence, she gave them the gift (the picture) and it gave them life (their memories)
p7- in the movie, mike says his father 'couldnt deal with it' and left after his mother died. yk what that sounds similar to? book henry emily killing himself in despair. maybe mike's dad is alive maybe he's dead, we dont know. but it is similar enough, an act of completely removing himself from the equation.
p8-book henry has a sister named jen, yk what name that sounds like? jane. who was mike and abby's aunt, and we dont know which parent she was related to.
p9-'but wouldn't mike know about the pizzaria if william was a family friend?' honestly, probably. but theres also a high chance that he wouldnt. if the family lived in nebraska, (which im pretty sure they did) they wouldn't have a need to go to utah, not even for a friend's restaurant. sure, he might know that his dad's friend had a restaurant, but not that it had animatronics or anything. the family probaly moved to utah after garrett's disappearance and after freddy's closed down.
p10-'wouldn't mike know vanessa? theyre similar in age' if they didnt live in the same state, probaly not. william in the movie was a, suprise suprise, shitty father, even foregoing the stabbing of his kid. i doubt hed care enough to take her with him on like. a short out of state trip.
p11(edit)- in the books aunt jane was killed by evil charlie to get to charlie, yk what that sounds like? the animatronics killing aunt jen to get to charlie
p12(edit)-the words at the end of the movie say 'come find me' and the music playong at the end is the puppets song so i think garrett is the puppet which is. again. an emily thing
p13(edit)- mikes dad looks like a mechanic shown in the training videos [cough henry emily cough]
if i think of anything else ill add it but anywys this is why i think the schmidts in the movie are the emilys equivalent. also check out the notes on this post because theres a lot of replies n reblogs that support my theory

The fact that there is no Nightmare SpringBonnie but there IS Nightmare Fredbear implies that C.C. wasn't scared of SpringBonnie because he knew that SpringBonnie was William aka his dad, but he feared Fredbear because he either didn't know Fredbear was Henry, OR was scared of Fredbear BECAUSE it was Henry. Thoughts?
