in my star wars era

• anakin's not a child anymore and though obi wan tries to accept it, he still misses having a young one. but then came you!!

• he's gone a lot doing jedi duties but you and him have a good agreement! you've worked hard to become very secure in being alone. he's not abandoning you, he has very important jedi stuff to do!

• when he comes back, you're always waiting at the landing pad and immediately jump into his arms, clinging to him.

• when he's home you play lots and lots of games like hide and seek, holonet matching and learning games, and catch the bantha. obi wan gets on all fours and acts like a very silly, very wild bantha! and you have to catch him! and if you try to get on his back, he'll (carefully) attempt to buck you off like those bull things at those earth establishments.

• he likes to pull faces to make you laugh and smile

• he lets you hide in his robes and even lets you sit in during meetings as long as there's no inappropriate conversations. you're so good and quiet during them, he's so proud of you and always tells you what a good job you did afterwards.

• cuddles are both of your number one ways to bond and recuperate

• when he takes you to the jedi temple, you have loads of fun running around and messing with things, obi wan constantly has to chase you and find you ajfhs

• anakin babysits!! he's like a big brother, showing you how to do math stuff and building different robots with you that can play with you and keep you company when you're alone

• anakin also plays games with you

• obi wan prefers you to at least try to be independent but he'll help you with various things depending on your age. when you're like 7+, he shows you to do kitchen stuff and chores

• anakin on the other hand completely babies you. he'll cut your food up even if you're an older little or in big space. he'll make sure your drinks and food aren't too hot. he'll help you dress and buys you all sorts of things. he enjoys feeling needed and wanted.

• obi wan loves knowing that no matter what, he always has his cute baby to turn to and love

(Ignore how insanely self indulgent this will be)

𖤐 Definitely an involuntary regressor

𖤐 Anakin will ignore the need to slip nearly every time. He’ll throw himself into work or training to avoid the inevitable. He hates how vulnerable regression makes him feel. He’s just so worried that something will happen and he won’t be able to protect people.

𖤐 Tends to be super dissociated when regressed. He can be very confused about when and where he is.

𖤐 Sometimes he’ll ask for his mom :(

𖤐 Regresses to around 4-10

𖤐 Likes to chew on things and has had one too many close calls where he has gone to put his lightsaber in his mouth (one of the reasons he’s not allowed to have it when regressed)

𖤐 First started regressing when he was a teenager but it wasn’t really noticeable. It became more common and intense(?) during the Clone Wars.

𖤐 Only Obi-Wan, Padmé, and Rex know about it. They only found out by accident. They each have a story about finding Anakin alone and curled up in a corner.

𖤐 Will throw tantrums A LOT and it can be hard to calm him down

𖤐 Does not like rules and will argue with Obi-Wan every time he tries to enforce one

𖤐 Feels comfortable regressing around Padmé because she’s always gentle and patient while still being able to wrangle him. He has fun with Rex too and he can’t resist but indulging in the kiddo’s antics sometimes.

𖤐 He would never admit it but his little self feels the safest with Obi-Wan. He practically raised him after all. Anakin may be a pit of a pain since Obi-Wan is the strictest out of his cgs, but he also feels super clingy towards his former master.

Regressor who's primarily low energy but still wants someone to look after them but the regressor x caregiver dynamics they see is always so... full of energy. Like they're always doing something together, and they fear they might be too boring for someone to want to look after them

They take a lot of naps, they like to snuggle up in bed, maybe put a show on, if its a really good day they'll do quiet activities like puzzles or coloring

Now meet caregiver who would love to watch over someone but doesn't feel they have the energy for it, like they can't keep up with a regressor who would want to go out always, want to do fun activities 24/7, they don't have that energy

But they have a lot of soft, gentle love in their heart, they know they could nurture someone, they would love to watch over someone and make the occasional sweet comment, or make them their favorite little snacks, or hold them oh so close so the both of them can truly rest

Some peaceful, quiet time for them both with at most a bit of background noise, nothing too big, nothing too loud

🛏️ tires you out by playing rowdy with you or convinces you to lie down SWEARING he won’t make you sleep (pats your back and talks softly until you do anyways)

something abt the concept of a little NEEDING a nap is so cute

like ‘oh sorry he’s so fussy, he hasn’t had his midday nap’ or ‘you seem really tired, honey. maybe we should take a mid morning nap, hm?”

tiny babies need their rest !!!

bonus points if they try and resist it so hard that they end up throwing a fit and then fall asleep on their caregiver or in a silly spot
