So I’m rewatching “Tweek x Craig” and I’ve noticed something… 

I think the whole theme of “I don’t want to be something I’m not” is more directed at “I don’t want to be forced into a relationship with someone I’m not close with” than “I’m not gay” 

And for Craig specifically, I think it was the art being made of him and Tweek (combined with his internalized homophobia) that annoyed him more than the idea of being in a relationship with Tweek. 

Uhhh I was gonna write a whole meta but I forgot where I was going with this so I’m just gonna leave it with that point LMAO!

Regarding the S/K zine

Let me tell you the story of the fic that was most difficult for me to write. It was Eys da ttende, which I wrote during the summer of 2015 – the only fic I wrote that whole year besides finishing the seventh chapter of Swarm & Handle in January. I killed myself to get this thing done, working through chronic pain that the modifier “awful” really fails to encapsulate – let’s just say that 600mg of ibuprofen didn’t (well, doesn’t) do a damn thing, and ER visits were (…are) sometimes a necessity. So, writing this story – which is a mere 8,000 words – was an enormous struggle from start to finish.

But I pushed myself to write this story – I pushed myself really fucking hard. Why? Because I wanted to contribute to the @stankylezine, which was important to me, having a collective of authors and artists I admired, for one thing, and for another thing, being an actual zine for the pairing I love the most. I contributed under the pretense that the zine would be a tangible, physical production, not an .PDF, and that it would be released at the end of 2015, as per the FAQ. I would not have contributed to the zine if it was going to be released as a .PDF: whereas with a physical zine, I was sacrificing reader feedback for the exclusivity of a print production, with a .PDF, I’m sacrificing reader feedback for… being in some shoddy document that could never compare to AO3 or even FF.net’s traffic.

I do not know why the two coordinators have dropped the ball on this project so egregiously, but I consider their offering of the .PDF alternative – which itself would take 6 weeks – offensive to the participants who worked so hard on their submissions under the pretense that their content would be published in a hard-copy zine. To all those who participated, I would very strongly urge you to reject this .PDF option – which indicates a waning interest in the zine’s completion and a lack of respect towards its participants – and post your content on your own online accounts, Tumblr, AO3, wherever.
