And what's even wilder is TWO of the Foretellers were also children! Gula and Ava can't be older than 16 and had the weight of the worlds put on their shoulder by a man so terrified of darkness, he causes the apocalypse to try to get rid of it!

I like Gula he's kind of Roxas coded to me in a bitter end of Days kind of way. Ava makes me think of Xion. Both of them are still incredibly stupid, however.

Oh right something I wanted to posit as well is that the reason Ven's Chirithy is waiting for him in the Final World is because Chirithy is like all Dream Eaters; it's made from a dead child. One that had already been in the Final World as a little star.

Okay so my friends got me to watch through the first part of the UX dub and I have, a few thoughts:

It was never gonna hit me as hard as the people who played it, because the episodic nature of the content as it was released means that I have inherently missed out on getting really attached to my own player character. You can also tell that the content from the mobile game wasn't really intended to be witnessed in one sitting.

MoM is an absolutely delightful example of orange morality I actually kind of adore his evil ass. Evil to me because he basically set up a society of children to murder each other in a brutal war that ended the world but I'm sure there's a bunch of meaning behind it that we mere non-ageless fucks with all seeing eyes do not get.

I have still not met a Master in this series I'd be willing to trust with a pet rock never mind a child (Riku counts but only because he himself is a child and really shouldn't have to take care of one). All the Foretellers better get their asses absolutely wrecked, shredded, destroyed. I not not like them, I only slightly pity them for playing the parts of the fool as expertly as they were intended to.
