I included every picture I took of my display, including pictures of the details, in different lighting, pictures where I played with the hue to make it look unnatural, and pictures of the whole display.
I like how this GIF turned out as it feels like a slideshow that shows all the different elements of the display.

I like how these GIFs look together as I like how theyβre both flashing different colours at the same time. I think this reflects a sense of chaos and fun (like that Peter Anton exhibition where he made viewers go on a rollercoaster ride, just more stationary).

These were took with the flash of the camera. They remind me of pictures that would have ben taken during my childhood, maybe taken by parents on a 2000s digital camera. I quite like how they're not technically good pictures because of this.

I used sweets, rhinestones and googly eyes, as well as paper flowers to make my sculptures cohesive. The display reminds me of a childrenβs birthday party, which emphasises the child-like nature of my work, as well as the fun I try to include.
I then took pictures of the display in a few different lightings - using purple gels, the flash of the camera, a phone torch to create shadow, and the natural lighting of the room.
Then, I put them into Photoshop and edited the hue, saturation and exposure to experiment with different effects.

Finished picnic sculpture
; made from faux grass, a plastic basket, fabric, felt, foam, cardboard, paper machΓ©, love heart sweets, cotton wool, coloured pencil and more
I think this might be my favourite out of the four sculptures I did for this project due to all the little details making it so whimsical. There is a sense of optimism as the clown finally looks relaxed, symbolising the light at the end of the tunnel. :-)

Cardboard, paint, coloured pencil, fine-liner
* keyboard made up of emojis - not being able to communicate properly
* pop-ups all over the screen, referencing things like best friends, online shopping and consumerism, being lonely, announcements from the government

Some of the details I included;
* sad faces on the flowers
* cotton wool clouds as the 'carpet'
* cake with googly eyes that is attracting ants

* picnic rug which will also be made into its own sculpture
