anyways yeah, revealing my slightly updated designs for both Gamera and Viras via a comic that might only be funny to me, but i'll post it here for the people to witness.

I gotta come clean gang, I made this!! With my own blood, sweat, viscous green slime, and tears.

Took me at-least two months to make it and according to the single procreate page I used, approximately 24 consecutive hours (not counting concept art and website stuff)

I post a lot more Kaiju media content on this site but I’m a huge Doctor Who nerd! I was actually into Doctor Who way before I watched a Godzilla movie (11 is my favorite if you’re wondering).

It’s genuinely insane to me that this got this much attention in the first place because I was originally just gonna leave it unlisted and keep it for myself as a little piece of self indulgent fan fiction.

I’ve done a lot of art for this thing (most of it being posted to the website linked in the description if you can figure out the password ;) )

If you’re wondering what regeneration I’ve designated my Doctor, somewhere in the 300’s. Something so comedically high it would take forever for actual Doctor Who to ever reach there.

Some people have asked whether I’ll make more, and I’m definitely considering it, I mean I have a whole series arc planned so it’s not exactly out of the question (another thing you can find in the website) BUT here’s the thing, I want it to be a considerable step up in quality to justify itself if that makes sense.

If I were to make it a series it would have to be realized in a way that’s more appealing then 4 minute monochromatic animatics, which is also a lot of work and might take me a while but could be fun.

Anyway I’m so incredibly happy people are taking a liking to this. Doctor Who has been a part of my life for years so to see other Whovians vibe with what are essentially OC’s brings a big smile to my face

Naturally I think about Godzilla a lot, and of course I think about the Monsterverse a lot and it’s weirdly vague lore

So over time I’ve kinda developed little head-canons and theories that kinda fill in some gaps that I kinda wanna share

Godzilla x Kong was really good, I liked it a lot

There were a couple little references and easter eggs throughout it that I really haven't seen people talk about so I'm gonna do that!

First thing I noticed is that Kong's little cave entrance on the side of a mountain is almost exactly the same as his cave entrance in the original King Kong (the place he brings Anne Darrow to and fights off a pterodactyl at).

Both Godzilla and Kong use their original roars from time to time, not fully screaming them but occasionally Godzilla or Kong will growl them for a split second.

Bernie's room has the Muto movie poster that Ford Brody had in his room at the beginning of Godzilla 2014

Holy shit Skeleturtle. He doesn't physically show up but he's spray painted onto a wall that Godzilla steps on alongside graffiti of Hedorah, Jet Jaguar, a Xillian UFO, and Knifehead from Pacific Rim

There's a fuzzy little glowing dragonfly that flies around Mothra's temple, and my first immediate thought was "omg fairy Mothra" I actually don't know if that was on purpose, but it has the same color pallet as Mothra along with it being furry and bioluminescent so it's probably related to her in some capacity right? (I'm coping)
