you see the thing is with this season is that the formula is slightly different and frequently played with, leading to a basically skit episode for the zootrope and a weird willy wonka guy taking up both too much and too little screen time (was he in an earlier episode?)

still okay though, because i am generally enjoying the reboot

if my ass was in charge of distributing streaming rights for the pokemon anime yk what id do?

keep journeys and horizons on netflix. same with the og (indigo league/the beginning/etc), but expand that to include orange islands and johto so it’s seasons 1 to 5. most kids who stream things are on netflix, so all the shit tpci wants kids to watch right this instant should stay there (plus og for both them and nostalgic adults)

put kalos (xy(z)) and sinnoh (dp) on hulu! those regions have main series titles (coming) on the switch so it seems fair. plus they’re the most well-liked seasons. they’re not a priority for tpci but they still should have attention and support on a major kids streamer. digimon is on there, it only seems fair. plus xy(z) was on there til recently when they replaced it with sun and moon.

and finally put everything else on tubi. advanced generation, black and white/best wishes, and sun and moon. the series no one cares about but still should be available outside of shit like “hoopla” and “happykids”. black and white is already on tubi! and everyone loves tubi, i have no complaints, it’s ad light and i don’t need an account to watch cardcaptor sakura it’s fantastic.

movie wise put the first two or three on netflix as well as secrets of the jungle and the cgi ones. everything else on tubi! mwahahahaha

because let’s face it. they’re not gonna have everything on netflix. or on youtube. they want and are already shoving shit onto no-names, cycling through as priorities change. but until the switch 2 is dead and buried they should do this! (they will not)
