I actually think it would be so funny if Thor adapted to Midgardian clothing and such, wearing t-shirts and jeans and after Asgardians start settling on Earth that's generally what has to happen. But Loki keeps wearing his complicated leathery Asgardian clothing for the apparent sole purpose of jump-scaring any visitors to New Asgard

New Asgard...

Prompt by anonymous, so sorry I can't tag anyone! - 'Horror AU (Loki and Thor) if you could do it cosmic horror even better, but any horror will do'

I honestly had so much fun making this and my hand really hurts now :') I know it's after the deadline and I'm very sorry but the curators of the event allowed me to finish this piece off and then post both of the artworks I created at the same time!

I was going to create a written piece to go with this to begin with, but as you can see I'm already late on posting because this piece took so much longer than anticipated due to me deciding to experiment with things XD Perhaps I'll write something up for it soon, because it was very fun to design.

I'd probably say my inspirations were 'still wakes the deep', a fantastic horror game, and 'call of Cthulu' with some DND elements from campaigns I've done in the past. I loved the results :)

Originally I was going to do more of a black and white theme, but inspiration took. I hope you all enjoy, especially the prompt giver!

I had a few different ideas for this, but went with my first idea and it turned out quite well. I've experimented a little more recently and I think it turned out better than expected :')
