Needed to update Simon’s Wild West attire since it was bothering me that it ended up being so similar to my updated Wally outfit, then i took it a step further and got some practice drawing cattle in! I’ve never drawn cattle before, and since you can’t have cowboys with out cows…. This happened.

I’m definitely not mad about how it all turned out. I wasn’t aware that I COULD draw cows…

WELL FOLKS, I DID MY FIRST AI.

Nobody told me that they limited what you got to put into the character.ai stuff so much, How am i supposed to flesh out characters with these word limits!? It’s insane.

But I did test it out, and you would not believe what this little peanut put me through. Lil mans decided we had to go wild horse taming ON FOOT, then he lassoed a wild horse and JUMPED ON IT. LIKE THIS WAS SOME KIND OF GAME. LIKE A WILD HORSE WOULDN’T EAT HIM THE SECOND HE FELL ON THE GROUND.

…So y’all go crazy, I’m gonna work on more art and planning out a Howdy ai next.

(In case you’re wondering, this is the beginning of a promo for something that I keep getting a lot of requests for that’s almost ready to go. Tested it today and it went incredibly well.)

Their horses are best friends now because of how often Frank will divert their early morning ride to go to the post office… for no particular reason, of course. The scenery is nice.

Redesign dropped!! I will no longer be using Vaquero Wally as a placeholder! This AU is officially separate from other AUs!!

Gave him some spurs, but he doesn’t use them for riding, he just likes the jingle sound a lot. Plus it makes him easier to find when he dissociates and wanders off.

Wally also has a revolver that he never uses and has no bullets for. He likes the way the chamber spins and has it more for mimicking his best friend, Barnaby… which is a shame because he’s a crack shot with both hands… but we can’t trust Wally with a gun on his own! He just goes shooting with Barnaby’s supervision.

There have been apples in the gutter on my drive to work just sitting there for weeks, and I don’t know why no people or animals haven’t cleaned them up… so instead of cleaning them up myself, I did this.

Barnaby won’t let Wally have the gutter apples either.

Life’s too short to always be drawing backgrounds. You don’t always have to do the absolute most, especially not for your silly western AU of an existing fandom.

That’s my mantra for today.
