I don't update this enough, but I am... nearly certain The Lady is one of the fair folk or adjacent- much of her private nature, not sharing her name (only titles), not wanting offerings frequently / without warning, her slightly trickster nature, how she generally acts around me and addresses me. Its not abusive, just... different than your standard god / devotee relationship, which now makes sense to me.

I also realize I have not shared a recent dream of hers that added a lot of context- in it, I approached Brigids shrine- in a sunny field, atop a hill. A priestess came to me as I approached the steps, her fellow priestesses tending a hearth. She cupped my head in her hands and smiled warmly- and told me my path was not here, it was elsewhere. She then pointed me off towards the woods, and as I entered them a large storm broke, soaking me to the bone. I got visions of a triquetra, and the dream ended.
Obviously a rather irish related dream, but I wonder- was the priestess telling me my path was not an irish one? or was she telling me it was not with Brigid? iirc the triquetra is celtic and has connections to triple goddesses, the main two in the irish pantheon being Brigid and The Morrigan.
It was enlightening nonetheless- although it raises as many questions as it answers.

Upon further reflection, I do think my goddess / matron / whoever she is has connections to The Morrigan. I have my doubts that shes THE Morrigan, but I think she may be /a/ Morrigan- perhaps she bears that same title. Shes... not forthcoming with her name (which I think is a test), but she has a lot of ties to The Morrigan + does not mind it or related titles.

Dreamt of her last night- she stood, cloaked in shadows, her eyes bright. She gave a nod towards me, and offered her arm- I took it, and she led me up a set of stone steps, up to an altar. It seemed like it was in a long abandoned church- and the sky outside was dark, as if a terrible storm was about to roll in (which seems to be common in dreams of her). We barely talked, but she mentioned being busy, in a way that annoyed her or upset her- like she didn't want to be dealing with whatever she was dealing with. She kissed my forehead and lingered with me for a second, before turning and leaving. When I went to follow her, she was gone.
