first  period  hadn’t  even  started ,  &  alice  was  wishing  the  day  was  over.  she  had  already  escaped  from  one  of  her  housemates  being  half - naked ,  only  to  find  another  in  a  similar  situation.  what  was  it  with  these  gryffindor  boys  being  so  exposed  ?  did  they  not  understand  the  rules  ?  ❛  you  enjoying  this ,  longbottom  ?  ❜  she  asked ,  her  tone  as  sour  as  her  mood.  ❛  if  i  were  you ,  i’d  put  on  a  shirt.  otherwise ,  i  might  be  persuaded  to  report  you  to  mcgonagall…  &  something  tells  me  she  wouldn’t  be  all  too  pleased.  ❜
Frank glanced around as he heard Alice speak - her tone annoyed, smiling slightly when he spotted her. “Absolutely loving it, Fortescue,” he answered, shrugging one shoulder lightly. “Do you ever lighten up?” he asked with a roll of his eyes, pulling his shirt out of his bag and putting it on.

A day in her pajamas is exactly what Charity desired, she was excited for spirit week and couldn’t wait for the ball at the end of the week. There was definitely going to be a few sights around Hogwarts today, as almost every person she passed was wearing their nightgowns or trying to break the rules by basically wearing nothing. Obviously, Charity didn’t get the memo about trying to dress sexy on pajama day. As she was clad in a fluffy onesie that she had received for Christmas this year.
The one person she hadn’t expected to be shirtless on a Monday morning was Frank Longbottom. “Alright there, Frank?” She greeted with a laugh. Before eyeing him suspiciously, “You might be accurate but you’ll be freezing. You really should have took a leaf out of my book.”

“Ah ha, that’s where you’re wrong,” Frank replied with a grin, turning to look at her. He pulled his beg in front of his chest, unzipping it and reaching inside. He grabbed a t-shirt from his bag, showing it to Charity. “See? I’m prepared for all eventualities,” he said, smiling as he put his bag down. He pulled his shirt on, mostly because she was right about how cold it was. “Though I will admit that your pajamas seem a lot more comfy than mine,” he nodded, eyeing up her fluffy onesie with a smile. “Sadly I don’t own any onesies or fluffy pajamas.”

she  couldn’t  help  but  roll  her  eyes     .     there  was  nothing  worse  than  the  cockiness  of  a  teenage  boy     .     the  amount  of  snide  smiles  she  saw    ,     confident  bodies  wandering  around  shirtless  or  in  flashy  boxers  was  astounding     .     ❛    of  course      ,    ❜    she  muttered  before  tossing  her  bag  on  the  table  and  taking  a  seat     .     ❛    but  if  we’re talkin’  accuracy     ,    i  should’ve  shown  up  naked     .    ❜     she  wore  a  taunting  grin  as  she  leaned  back  in  her  chair     .     ❜

Frank smiled slightly when Mary threw her bag onto the table, shrugging at her following comment. “Some people just don’t value accuracy as much as I do,” he replied, rather teasingly. “Though I think your pajamas are very fetching, even if they’re not incredibly accurate. Very cute,” he added with a quick wink. He wasn’t even sure if he was intentionally flirting, it just came naturally to him.

Spirit week was something Frank enjoyed immensely, not because he was particularly full of school pride but because it was an excuse to kick back a little, which was something he didn’t do too often. Today was pajama day, and he’d taken that to mean wear whatever you wear to bed. So as he wore most nights Frank was now walking around the castle in just pajama bottoms and no shirt. He knew he had very little time before a teacher spotted him and made him get fully dressed (so he had a shirt ready in his bag) but it was fun for now. Though it did get him a few more glances than usual.
“What? This is what I wear to bed and I just wanted to be accurate.”

HUNTER PARRISH —— Well, if it isn’t FRANK LONGBOTTOM, the GRYFFINDOR superstar. For those of you who don’t know HIM, you can spot them sitting with the other SEVENTH years. Most people think that they’re FRIENDLY and HELPFUL, but they can also seem pretty STUBBORN and TOO TRUSTING. Sometimes people call them the ALL LOVING HERO. Sure, they’re a PUREBLOOD, but that doesn’t define them. ( ciara, gmt, 20, she/her )
Tumblr media
Hi all! I’m Ciara and I’m super excited to join the rp :) It’s been a while since I’ve played Frank but he’s one of my favourites of all time so I can’t wait to get back to playing my wannabe auror! <3 In the mean time here’s some info so that you can all get to know him:
Frank is a people’s person. He's an extroverted guy and loves spending time with people whenever he can. Not only that but he loves to make people happy and help them if it all possible. He could never walk past someone who was upset, even if it was someone he didn’t know very well. People make the world go round, especially to him.
Another passion of his is quidditch. He’s a chaser on the gryffindor team and always put everything into any game or practice. Not only does he love playing it but he also adores watching it. He’s a huge supporter of Puddlemere United. His room at home has numerous posters on the walls and he even has one above his bed here at Hogwarts.
However, his biggest passion in life is fighting for what’s right and that’s why he wants to be an auror. Frank does extra subjects, exercises and training to make sure he’ll not only get into the training program but also be top of his class. With graduation looming ever closer and the war getting worse, he’s itching to get out there and fight.
Frank is a typical Gryffindor. He’s brave, bold and popular. There’s no other house he could have possibly been in and it’s clear to anyone who spends more than five minutes with him.
Frank has had one serious relationship, a few casual ones and many hook ups. He had a relationship for a year and a half before it broke down early in his sixth year. He went a few more dates with other people after that but nothing serious. Since then he’s much preferred the occasional one night stand or friends with benefits. Frank is a flirt, and sometimes he just can’t help himself, even if it’s someone he should not be getting into bed with.
Frank’s father was the Head Auror in the Ministry for all of Frank’s childhood. In fact, he was until Frank was 16. He didn’t quit or retire; he was murdered on the job. It hit Frank hard because his Father had been his role model his entire life, losing him was the hardest thing he’s ever had to go through. He used the pain and grief as motivation, pushing himself more and more into his work and devoting himself to becoming the best auror he could be.
Not only did he lose his father, he also lost his mother; mentally anyway. After his father’s death she withdrew completely and hasn’t been the same since. She’s bitter at the world and takes it out on Frank. He does his best not to take it personally and take care of her, but he doesn’t quite like being home as much anymore.
