27th March 2019 - New Car Update
The Vauxhall Insignia was returned yesterday and now have a replacement vehicle until the VW Passat arrives in June. This will be the first time I’ve driven a Skoda Octavia (and a Skoda for the matter) so normal updates will resume. The vehicle only has 1862 miles on the clock.
The vehicle is White and comes with the following features (amongst others):
Adaptive Cruise Control
USB Connection with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
SD Card slot and CD player (remember those)
8” High Definition Touchscreen
More details and reviews will follow soon as well as the daily regular mileage and MPG stats.

New Vehicle Update - Arriving Soon
Just had my replacement vehicle ordered. It going to a be a VW Passat Estate Business Edition DSG 1.6l 120 PS. 12 week lead time for this to arrive, so mid-June for planned arrival. Stay tuned for pictures and a video overview.

Friday 15th March 2019
I do like the analogue dial to adjust the temperature. Much better than on-screen functionality, however sensitive they are. I am 6’ 3” and even I still have to reach forward slightly to reach them.
Left hand side of the steering wheel controls details Cruise and Speed Limiter controls as well as Phone functions, Collision Avoidance and Heated Steering Wheel.
Right hand side of the steering wheel shows Volume, Media selection and Driving Data selection arrow buttons.
