Big Move, Please Lend a Hand!!

tl;dr: i am driving roughly 470 miles and 7.5 hours on monday night to the new apartment i’ll be sharing with a roommate. i am currently unemployed in this other state and i can only cover important bills at this point. i am trying to cover the cost of gas for this mileage, and for getting a thin supply of groceries so we can eat at least for a few days/a week.

Because of the nature of help posts getting buried and ignored, I have to make another one to address this. This is basically an update from THIS post. Most of the issues presented in that one are still in place now; only I am staying with another friend about 1hr 30mins from where I’m currently working weekends (the people I was staying with previously had a change in their own moving schedule and needed me to leave).

Since that post, my moving schedule to the new apartment has changed. Instead of leaving the week of the 3rd, I will be leaving Monday, February 25th. And I will be leaving later in the hopes of avoiding traffic issues.

The whole point of this is that: I have the money to cover my immediate bills for the month of March- however necessities such as food, gas, hygiene, and medications (which have been INTEGRAL IN STABILIZING ME) are a no-go.

I, personally, am expecting the cost of gas to be between $60-$80, I am leaning more towards the former, but I honestly won’t know until actually making the trip.

As for food, I’m going to assume that I’m more covering myself rather than my roommate, but their financial situation isn’t solid either- so, it isn’t my place to inhale their food. I usually only spend around $40-60 on myself, but that is including hygiene and my prescriptions in there.

I have been applying to jobs down in this state, but I honestly don’t expect any luck until I’m actually there, and well, I’m sure people understand how shit looking for jobs is.

As I’ve said, my loans, medical bills, car payment, other misc bills- that I can cover myself and has been the purpose of my staying in the state for as long as I have. However, as I’ve said, that’s all I can cover. 

IF you want to help, it would help me TREMENDOUSLY and help take a shitload of additional stress off my shoulders during my trip down there and at least I won’t be immediately panicked in eating or anything.

I am trying to make the best of the situation my life has been in the past few months. It hasn’t been easy, it’s tested my resolved and unfortunately caused a lot of mental distress- which prompted a meltdown that I’m still trying to dig myself out of.

I genuinely, genuinely appreciate the patience and help. Of course, please care for yourselves first and foremost, but if you are able to lend me a hand it would go a long way especially within the next few weeks.

Not much is known of her past, its often speculated that she doesn’t have any family (at least not in Vesuvia) and is often seen alone. She spends most of her time at the Rowdy Raven either getting drunk off her ass, or dancing to make cash. It’s been noted that she works for the Countess and has worked for Count Lucio before his death, but it’s unknown to the type of work she does or did.

1) At first, she seems innocent and shy but once she had a few too many salty bitters her real self comes out

Losing another person close to her, she’s been through too much of that already.

It’s unknown to who her mother is, and she doesn’t enjoy speaking about her family, but despises any questions about her parents.

“My parents?” Her eyes squint into a glare, “all i have to say is that they aren’t good people. Willing to betray their family for their own image” scoffing, Ila gets up and leaves, slamming the door behind her.

Father: Unknown Bianchi

Just like her mother, not much is known about Ila’s father—just that he is a powerful man that also isn’t from Vesuvia.

Siblings:

All that is known is that she has a handful of older siblings and a few younger.

“Ah yes” she sips on her bitter alcohol “ I have three older brothers and one older sister, and one younger sister and brother; twins. They’re the only ones from my family that have at least some sympathy.”

Cousins: Unknown if she has any cousins.

Aunts/Uncles: Once again, it’s unknown to whether she has any extended family.

Friendships:

Its a well known fact that she is very good friends with the Countess, ever since she first arrived in Vesuvia until now. She also has a close friendship with Asra, their friendship going a long way back—although there were some...disagreements... at some points, they’re still very close.

Romantic Interests: (Any of the past or even your considerations for the future- might be best to do it when they're not around)

“Me? In a romantic relationship? Hah, very funny joke” she barks out a laugh, her cheeks tinted red from the amount of liquor she consumed.

“Hm, I’ve only ever messed around, no strings attached and such. I’ve only ever really had feelings for one person, but they hurt me and they’re not around now” rolling her eyes, she continues “it feels better for me now when I’m single—all love does to you is make you weak.”
