I need to rip this skin off my body until I can see the metal that's supposed to be there, I feel my body, I know it's under the meat .... Yet. I can't break free no matter how hard I try.

Usually I feel neutral about my body's flesh, most of my mind believes it's normal, they say it's natural and comfortable. But. I don't feel comfortable. I'm weak. I can't even transform.

This isn't helped by the fact that I miss Cybertron, a lot. Earth is lovely don't get me wrong, but I would give anything to be home again! One day I'll find a way to go back... I'm sure I will.

NGL that one popular post people are passing around about disabled cats in the books vs. reality reeks of inspiration porn. There's a conversation for sure to be had as to how Warriors generally misrepresents the extent to which the animals it ostensibly portrays would actually be affected by certain conditions (e.g. the fact that cats are much less vision-reliant creatures than us meaning that Jayfeather or Longtail could lead much more physically active lives if they so wanted to). But like. Let's also remember that disabilities are, definitionally, disabling and the portrayal of that as something to be overcome through sheer grit and determination is not always (or even most of the time) the kind of narrative the people seeing themselves in these characters need/want, yeah?
