I've been in a real building mood recently, so here's a little cottage for a swamp witch I built!

the sims 2 is such a weird game to be fixated on. how do I explain to my friends that the things that've been occupying my mind daily are a bunch of low poly characters all named some stupid shit like Gas O'Line or Impregnator Alien 300 from a game that's almost old enough to drink

After her retirement, Titania has been spending her days playing cards with Chrysophase and Adelaide, with whom she also swaps potion recipes.

Persephone and the twins, Eurydice and Orpheus, have become inseparable! They're all excelling at school, too!

Fragaria is steadily climbing the ladder of the Culinary career, while Hugo is an Intern in the Medicine career. Despite their busy schedules, they still find time to spend together and their kids.

I launched my game for the first time in months!

I definitely want to keep going with the Summerdream Legacy and I will post an update soon! I think I got a little burnt out because I built the family this enormous house and furnishing it was a chore (most of the bedrooms just have beds and plain walls still, and none of the upstairs is furnished or decorated but, oh well...). Also, given that Fragaria wants 6 (!) kids, I got a little overwhelmed with the amount of Sims in the household, and playing stopped being fun. So, here's some ideas I had on how I was going to proceed in an attempt to make the legacy fun again!

Fragaria Summerdream sold Cafe Le Fae. I love Open for Business, but running a restaurant is difficult and I felt like I was taking time away from having my Sims build friendships and relationships by essentially being at work all the time.

Most adult Sims will get a traditional job, so that they're not always at the house and I don't have to worry about so many Sims at once.

Spares will live in a separate household, which I will also play and post updates for. I think that'll be a nice break whenever I get a little bored of the main family. I don't think I'll be playing rotationally, though, so I'll use the SimBlender to age Sims up as needed. Most spares will not have children (I've already broken this rule lol), though they can get married!

Sorry for the long rambly post! I just wanted to collect my own thoughts about this, I guess.

I haven't had much time or energy to play with the Summerdreams in the past week or so, so I've slowly been rebuilding their lot because I can't help myself. I spent way too much money on this little garden area and the wedding chapel, but it turned out so good I don't even care!

I wanted to take a little break from the Summerdreams for a little, so I spent some time decorating my custom hood, Daffodale.

I experimented with making a little selling area with some of the family's produce and Prudence's home cookin', but I found that the Sims are too drawn to that and hardly want to sit down and dine, so I usually don't restock these items when they run out.

Titania turns her daughter into a witch, hoping to keep their magical lineage going. Fragaria immediately uses Mellifera Attackum on a witch who conjured cockroaches at the Cafe...

Eurydice and Orpheus have turned into toddlers! Now to train most of their toddler skills before the new baby arrives...

Fragaria rolls a want to have another baby, and Hugo is happy to oblige! This is the second time they've gotten pregnant autonomously. Thanks, ACR!

I've decided to move Cosimo and Ernie out... they're a great help with the babies, but having a ton of Sims on one lot is proving to be pretty overwhelming!
