𝕸𝖊𝖒𝖊𝖓𝖙𝖔 𝖒𝖔𝖗𝖎 💀 Memento mori (Latin for 'remember that you [have to] die') is an artistic or symbolic trope acting as a reminder of the inevitability of death. The concept has its roots in the philosophers of classical antiquity and Christianity, and appeared in funerary art and architecture from the medieval period onwards. ~ Wiki

Nice and cheerful for this Sunday afternoon 😂 These dark little lino prints are now available on my website to order. I love the individual markings on each and every one of them!

Praise the Lwyd! Golowan festival is creeping up on us! If you don't know about Golowan, it's a 10 day midsummer festival of art, performance and culture in Penzance. It's also the second largest street festival in the UK! It's worth the trek down!
This guy is available in my shop as part of a mini-print/postcard pack. https://loreoftheland.bigcartel.com/product/festival-characters

Dydh da!
Welcome to my art blog! I am a Cornish artist and illustrator living in southern Cornwall. My artwork is inspired by nature and British folklore and the ancient lands of this beautiful part of Britain.
As an introduction to my page and to celebrate my favourite season, here is my Mabon Hare.
I hope to see you here again.
