Conveniently Unlocked Doors, Or "How Lu Found Out About Her Butler's Affair with the Pale Kid and Gave Ain More Things to Drag Add About"

**My first submission, apologies in advance for any spelling or grammatical errors there may be.**

Imagine Ciel and Add, for the purpose of this imagine, being in a relationship. They’ve made off to Ciel’s room for the night, fully intent on trying out a few new things. More specifically, a bit of bondage. During one of their recent “sessions”, they learned that Add can be surprisingly subservient in bed and enjoys being dominated. Ciel, being one to push the boundaries, suggested they try something he’d heard about during his time as an assassin for hire. Working in the underground isn’t all about death and betrayal, you know?

Now imagine Lu, after being dumped on Rena so Ciel and Add could have some alone time, wandering into the kitchen for the cookies that Ciel promised would be there if she got hungry. As she’s pigging out on the pre-made sweets (they’re not as delectable when they’ve cooled, she notes sourly), Ain enters the kitchen in search of Elsword. When he sees Lu, he makes some off comment about her unpleasant demonic aura being the probable cause of his charge’s absence. Lu gets angry, and what does she do when she’s angry? “CIEL!”

Finally, imagine that as Ciel is tying Add up (gently, given his past with slavery), Lu bursts into the room with a snickering Ain at her side, demanding that he “teach the insolent priest a lesson!” and bake a fresher batch of cookies, because who serves their queen food that’s been sitting around gathering dust? Ciel dies of embarrassment, Add curses the room’s lack of security, Ain laughs at their misery until the end of time, and Lu seethes at the lack of action being taken to put that pesky priest in his place.

Bonus: Ain never stops teasing Add about the incident. Ever. The Elgang has never seen someone’s face go as red as the albino’s anytime Ain cracks a joke over it. That is, until Add vindictively mentions how the priest’s eyes may have wandered a bit more than he let on. Intervention ends and does not occur again until Ain has properly cursed Mr. Ancient to the depths of Hell and back.

Man though you know what makes me sorta sad is when nerdy, “quiet” kids latch on to me during camp and they just talk and talk and talk about a thing they’re into (Skyrim, Pokemon, Harry Potter, Doctor Who, dinosaurs, whatever). And I see the kids just light up when they say something and I can chime in with an ‘oh hey, are you talking about [x]? I love that thing! Tell me more about it.’

Like, their parents will warn me ‘so-and-so is pretty quiet and hard to engage’ but no, man, just listen, your kid is so smart and so into This Thing, they’ll engage like fuck and talk your damn ear off it you let them. Frame it in their damn terms. Or! Just! Listen to them about their Thing! And they will engage with the rest of the material! Because they know you care about them! Amazing!!!

Grandma Moses didn’t begin her painting career until age 76. Louise Bourgeois didn’t become a famous artist until she was 78. Whatever your dream is, it is not too late to achieve it. You aren’t a failure because you haven’t found fame and fortune by the age of 21. Hell, it’s okay if you don’t even know what your dream is yet. Even if you’re flipping burgers, waiting tables or answering phones today, you never know where you’ll end up tomorrow. Never tell yourself you’re too old to make it. 

Never tell yourself you missed your chance. 

Never tell yourself that you aren’t good enough. 

You can do it. Whatever it is.

Thank you, and I hope you have a wonderful day! o/ Your writing is wonderful btw, all of you. I hope I can write just as well one day, so I'm not tempted to increase your workload. Again, thanks!

In the beginning of the relationship Add would sometimes feel left out because the communication and actions between Ciel and Eve just seemed so right and natural that he would doubt his place in the relationship. When Ciel and Eve noticed the odd behaviour in their other partner, they sat him down and got him to talk about all of the thoughts and emotions he had running through his head to make sure he didn’t feel that way again

Despite Eve being the female in the relationship, she fits in with one of the boys with watching wrestling and various sports. She sometimes helps Ciel with the cooking in the kitchen

Between the three of them Add is the most sensitive and emotional, despite not wanting to show it, so they try their best to make sure that Add knows he is loved, cared for and everything else in between. They never want to see him cry or doubt his place in the relationship again

Ciel is seen as the strong one between the three of them, the one the other two can run to with their problems, so he doesn’t want to burden the other two with his issues. When Eve and Add found out the reason behind he does this, they sat him down while explaining that no, he didn’t always have to be the strongest one for them and it was perfectly fine for him to lean on them too

When the three of them cuddle Add likes to be in the middle of Eve and Ciel despite him denying these claims in front of anyone. He loves the feeling of love, warmth and security he gets when being in between the two
