Emi could easily tell her little stunt had definitely not gone unnoticed. He made no motion to hide he noticed. She smiled innocently, listening to him before perking up at his pointed questions. Emi’s head tilted to one side a small smile twisting her lips upward.
“I’ve had a few experiences,” She told him gently, shrugging as if they meant nothing. “They aren’t that interesting.”
Feigning disinterest in her own stories she glanced back at him. Crimson orbs slid to the side as she thought what next to say. No conversation had really lasted this long in her experience. Not since she was human.
“I’m not all that gifted. You’re giving me too much credit!” Emi exclaimed suddenly the excitement back in her eyes. “I’m still learning as I go!”
Had he not noticed it before, too focused on the girl herself, or she just started floating? Leaning back like any normal human would be able to, she looked like she did it on purpose, aiming for him to see her special ability. Watching her actions, a small smile spread across his lips, and the Pharaoh crossed his arms over his chest.
What a childish, mature girl.
"Well," a short chuckle came out of his mouth, "I won’t deny – yeah, I’ve experienced much, maybe too much. At least, not all of my experiences were welcomed, but,” his smile turned into a smirk, “instead, you’re fairly gifted, aren’t you?” Atem asked, by what he meant more than just one thing; not being an extraordinary human, floating, even all those disappearances; no doubts, she was fairly familiar with them. “Besides, I’m pretty sure you also have some interesting experiences.”

Emi leaned back, almost to the point the only reason she wasn’t falling was that she was floating. Almost. She reached up to tug at her lone side ponytail, a frown working itself on her features. Ah. Human greed. However, she had no need for more power.
A soft giggle bubbled past her lips. Hee hee hee.
“I don’t just think so...I know so!” She stated proudly.
Emi turned away for a moment, kicking a motionless rock by her foot so it went skittering up the pavement.
“You’re smart, and you know so much....,” she began as she spun back around this time balancing on one foot as she cupped her fingers together behind her back idly. “It makes me jealous in a way... You’ve experienced so much...”
“It’s like with money, don’t you think? People who are rich and have actually lots of it, still wants to get more and more. The more you have, the more you want – it’s just a human right, I suppose. Maybe someone who’s powerful tries to gain more power to never let anyone defeat them.” The Pharaoh shrugged. That was still just a suspicion, yet he found it muc more sensible than her idea about making friends. Even if there was something in her train of thoughts that made than explanation dangerously probable.
“Most of people are corrupted. If you still believe they are not, I may only be jealous of your experiences. On the other hand… that’s too naive for this wolrd,” he shrugged his arms, and a bitter smile played along his lips. She seemed to be really innocent, just as if she really was the little girl.

“You think so? Thank you, I guess…”

“Hm...”
She had to pick a good game. However she didn’t know many games to play. Emi got back to thinking, wracking her brain for any game to play. Needless to say, it didn’t take very long to come up with something.
“I know! How about we play hide and seek?”

Yusei let out a sigh of relief, and nodded gently. Just one game wouldn’t be bad. "Of course I will. If this is where I can find you, I’ll come every now and again.
He wasn’t quite sure where here was, but he figured if she wanted him to come again, it would happen in the long run. He nodded at her request to ride his bike.
"Whatever game you want."

“I’ll consider it.” She responded sharply and hugged her bear tightly. With that she sat back in the air allowing her body to float slightly.

“I understand. This is alot to take in, believe me, I know.” Said Hanzo. “All I ask is that you consider it at the very least…”

She leaned back on her heels. Emi never thought about it that way. The self proclaimed witch idly toyed with a strand of hair, blood colored optics glancing off toward the ground. This was definitely awkward. Talking about herself in a third person view.
“....Maybe so...,” she stated slowly.
Emi tapped her bottom lip before chuckling softly. He probably had started to suspect her from her odd behaviour but that didn’t faze the female much.
“I never thought about it like that. But why would someone who is strong want more power? Doesn’t that make them corrupt...?”
Not a way she’d look at it but he did say from his own experience. So most people corrupted? A bit like her outbursts, she deduced. Though it wasn’t that she wanted more power, it was that she could do whatever she wanted.

“You sure are interesting, Mister.”
“I know what loneliness means, I used to experience it more intensely than I’d every wish anyone, same as despair. However, I would never force anyone to love me. When feelings come out of a fear, could they be real? Insanity, yeah… I think there must be lots of insanity to go so far, too far.”
The Pharaoh found it fairly strange that the girl was trying to exculpate the culprit, assuming that the crimes were an effect of being alone. Why could he not resist the impression that she knew pretty much about that issue? Much more than she already amitted, yet asking outright didn’t seem to be a good idea.

“Why? it’s not a quiestion I’d raise first off. There may be plenty of reasons, amongst them also yours. If we assume that any supernatural power is involved, should it not be rather who? But if you wanna know my point, from my experience I conclude that things like those disappearances usually happen when someone powerful desired to gain even more power.”

“I don’t want to...” She mumbled darkly. “I believe you, but I don’t want to go.” Emi glanced to the side. She still didn’t even remember him, even less her supposed mother.

Emi held the small teddy gently. Far back in her memories this bear definitely was there. “Alright....I’ll believe you...” For now.

Hanzo nodded, handing it to her. “We’ve kept it ever since we lost you. As something to remember you by…”

Emi’s eyes widened. Oh she definitely remembered a stuffed bear similar to that one. One hand reached out for it.
“Can....can I hold it?”

Family Matters || undeadspectre
“I have more… look.” Said Hanzo. He reached into the pocket in his jacket, and removed a small stuffed teddy bear. “This was yours before we lost you. You used to call him Mister Snugglekins… feels like yesterday…”

Emi glanced to the side inspecting the elements within the dimension. Slowly she sighed. “I don’t believe you, but since some evidence has been proven I will try to believe you a little bit.”

Family Matters || undeadspectre
"Well I can, and your mother will too…" said Hanzo, desperate to make her believe him.

Emi hummed to herself as if in deep thought. Would she really let him leave? She grinned deciding on the answer.
“Of course! But only if you promise to come play with me every now and again!” The self proclaimed witch chirped all too happily. “And— And maybe next time you can teach me how to use that thing you ride on!”
She pointed at the contraption. Honestly, if she could she definitely make him stay so she could learn all sorts of things. However she had already stated that she’d let him out.
“Now I just have to pick a good enough game...”

Yusei’s eyes widened at her words. Another dimension where she’s the owner? How did he get here? Immediately, he was filled with curiousity, but he wasn’t sure if he quite wanted to know the answer. He just knew that he needed to get out of here, and maybe playing this game was his best bet.
"Would you let me leave after we finish the game? I need to get back to my city." He asked cautiously.

She was growing a bit uncomfortable as this went on. Yes Stockholm syndrome was something that took a great deal of time and effort. Something the victims nor the captor had. She fell silent for a few minutes listening in.
“You know....once someone has succumbed to despair, loneliness and insanity they’ll do anything to fill a void in their heart,” she mused quietly. “Even if that something means going after other people.”
Then Emi smiled once more at him.
“Yes, but I never realized I would meet someone who knew so much!” She told him honestly. Emi was beginning to realize the more she talked with him the more she was opening up. Dropping hints here and there.
“You seem very smart, mister. Why do you think it’s happening?“

"Hey, wait. Do you think that someone kidnaps plenty of people, because is lonely, and wants to make friends? You know, maybe the Stockholm syndrome worked in “Beauty and the Beast”, but in this case – a snowball’s chance in the hell.” If that was what she really thought, that seemed like features of a child and someone much older, more concsious complemented each other in that little body. Maybe the Pharaoh would experience enough to not delude himself that the intensions could be so innocent, however, he rather consented to the second option – other possibilities.
Or the girl knew much more than he supposed.

“I am sure we both had already seen lots of unusual things to know how highly feasible it is. But it requires a great power, and – if I’m not wrong – it isn’t very popular.” A slight smile played along his lips, “You are really interested in it, aren’t you?”

Her shoulders sagged slightly. Why was he so persistent? Not like him being her family changed anything.
“Even if I did go with you. No one would be able to see me.”

"I never lie to my children! Emi please, for god sakes! Come, let me show you your mother, she’s been heartbroken ever since you left us!"
