Hi Lotte! I was wondering whether you have ever considered retexturing the Nightlife diner counter/island and bar in Cluedo woods/colours? :)

Hey CuriousB! I think I've completely blocked those counters out of my memory and when I looked them up to see which ones you mean I can see why I never use them, they're very, very ugly indeed (why are those countertop textures so warped in the back and sides?? And the silver countertop textures don't even align in the front?? The longer you look at it the worse it gets😫). They could definitely use a nice retexture because when you ignore the ugly textures the mesh is actually kind of nice. The truth is that I don't know if I feel like retexturing any time soon, I still need to finish the country mirror and I'm not doing so well lately so I've stopped working on things for now. I have to face my fear of disappointing people and say no to this one, at least for now. I'll definitely keep these in mind if I'm ever looking for something to do though!

That took a little longer than the anticipated "few more days", sorry for that! Started over twice, spent hours on the flowers (graphic design is no longer my passion) and the mirror is only half finished but these were done so I'll just do two separate posts. Without further ado:

The Simple Washer from Kountry Pipes in seven Cluedo Woods and ten Cluedo Colors. Towels are also recolored in all ten colors. As usual (I should start a tag for these!) I've also made some recolors with flowers on them, matching my earlier recolors of the Cowpoke Stove, Blue Ribbon Countertop counters/A Less Threatening Rack and The Refreshing Commode from McKraken Industries. I've also increased the texture size from 256x256 to 512x512 because the flowers were very blurry (and couldn't get the textures right on the smaller size afterwards but that's another story).

Dirty states for everything included!

Also as usual an option for a file to replace the default colors. Look at the second picture to see which color replaces what. I've also replaced the towel colors (not pictured), with blue, green, peach and white.

(I'm trying to stay consistent between the sets in what replaces what but I took a little liberty in replacing the mint towel with green instead of grey like the mint color in my Cowpoke Stove default because I didn't want both a grey and white towel as default. I'm sure nobody cares.😁)

The Refreshing Commode from McKraken Industries in all seven Cluedo Woods. Seasons required!

I originally started this back January last year but never continued because of the difficult mapping. The wood does not line up perfectly but after hours of fiddling it's the best I can do and it's really only noticeable on worn (as seen in the second picture). The others are nearly perfect. And you might not even notice at all because nobody zooms in on toilets to take screenshots anyway.😁

Default options shown on the third screenshot. As usual the recolor in front replaces the one right behind it.

I've also made some plain Cluedo Colors recolors (I've done some recolors with prints on them back in 2022) and made some more recolors with flowers on them as well to match my Blue Ribbon Countertop counters/A Less Threatening Rack and Cowpoke Stove recolors from the same country set. These are all different files so you can have all 30 of them in your game if you can't choose. To make things not too confusing my new recolors have "2024" in their file names.

All the toilets have their dirty states, I just didn't feel like making more screens (they're the same as the 2022 version).

I feel really tired after working on this all day so I'm taking a little break at least for tomorrow, but the sink and mirror from the teaser will come in a few more days.

Making progress with the Refreshing Commode toilets! A few seams left to fix. Sorry for the long wait everyone who was patiently waiting for them, I'm retexturing the mirror and sink as well as a little treat (and also because it's nice to complete the bathroom set). Needs a little more tinkering (color seems little off and annoying mapping as usual) but they're going to turn out great.

I'm not sure to which radiators you refer, but I did convert some modern radiators by NynaeveDesign, so you might mean those?

About the Refreshing Commode toilets... yeah...well...😓 The truth is that I was never satisfied with the three recolors I had made so far and I never continued the project. I still have all the files and I'm looking at them again and they don't look thát bad (perfectionist troubles😅). They just have horrible and difficult mapping which makes it a little more difficult than other recolors. I'm going to give it another try, because I really want them myself as well, they look so good in those colors.

I've finished recoloring the FreeTime appliances (+ a matching Super Sucker Vent)! As usual, they come in the 10 Cluedo Colors.

Super Sucker Vent

They are very shiny so they might look a little lighter than usual Cluedo Colors in brightly lit spaces. The Char-Pane Grill is a little darker because when placed outside it looked ridiculously bright otherwise. Dirty states for the stove are included.

As my poll showed, people hated my green people were divided about the display colors so I've decided to make three versions for the three different display colors (blue, green and grey). The recolors are compatible with each other so you can have 30 different recolors for each item if you want too (I won't judge you). Might be handy too if you want to compare them in-game.

Default options are included if you want to replace the original colors. These also come in the three different display versions and use the colors green, peacock, scarlet and white. I have not made a default replacement for the Super Sucker Vent because it's not really a part of the FreeTime set and I didn't know what colors I would use. (I've also already made 3 different default replacements for it.)

Green is not doing so well as I had guessed and it's actually going pretty even between the three options, so that's going to be some extra work making multiple versions! (I've totally learned my lesson polling opinions.😂)

And that happened multiple times.😐 Hopefully people don't think I steal ideas without crediting.

I hate recoloring stoves but it seems I just can't help it. I really enjoyed my Kitchen & Bath Interior Design Stuff recolor project and since FreeTime has a lot of matching items as well I figured those appliances could be a fun project next.

Still need to decide whether I keep the blue displays or change them to something a little less bright like green or maybe something else entirely.🤔

I've made a little default replacement for tftoptanktop, because I couldn't find a replacement I really liked for this horrible not so pretty top.

For this replacement I've used a mesh by Skellington with recolors by Alienpod using colors by Anna.

They come in two options, colors close to the original tanktops (blueish purple, red, grey and dark pink) or alternatively the colors I personally liked to use (blueish purple, peach, mint green and medium pink).

Choose one!

They're catagorized for everday, PJs and gym. If you want to use separates for other categories than everday, you need this mod by Lazy Duchess.

(Also I have these weird white lines on the thumbnails in my BodyShop, I have no idea where they come from or why they're there, but there is nothing wrong with the clothing itself so just ignore those on the picture.)

(Unless you know how to fix it then please tell me.😅)

Another reblog, this time with a fix for the AF tanktop in apricot color linking to the wrong mesh. Thanks anon for pointing it out!

All of Anna´s custom recolors (these 30 colors) of the base game tanktop underwear as separate tops and bottoms so you can mix and match them. For teenage, young adult, adult and elder females.

All the teenage and elder files are repositoried to the adult female files. This means you need the adult version of the specific color of the tanktop or panties in your game to make the teenage and/or elder version show up. (It does wonders for the file size though!)

The panties use a base game mesh, for the tanktops I’ve used custom meshes that are included (and named below). The tanktops are categorized for everyday, gym, PJs, swimwear and underwear and the panties are for PJs, swimwear and underwear.

The game without any mods only lets you use separates for everyday, so to use the panties and the tanktops for other categories you’ll need Lazy Duchess’s mod or find another way to access the other categories for separate clothing items.

(anna's tanktops anon here) Oh I'm sorry I forgot to say I mean AF top, and apricot recolour for sure: if you look into 3D ID Refrencing File in this recolour CRES and SHPE are different than in other recolours, I think it's some base game tanktop because of the shape of the mesh that I saw in bodyshop, maybe you have some mesh default so it doesn't appear the same in your game?

You're completely right, I inspected the tanktops in my AnyGameStarter and there's definitely some other mesh involved. It's already late here so I'll fix it tomorrow, bear with me!

Hi Lotte! I just downloaded your Anna's undies as separates (post/699022467430236160), thank you so much for this <3 ! I opened bodyshop and noticed apricot top looks like it's on different mesh (probably some base game tank top), not a big deal it's an easy fix but thought you'd like to know this

Thank you for liking my stuff!😊 And for the report! I've been looking at the tank tops for over 20 minutes now but I think you mean the peach color? It's not a mesh problem, but something went wrong with the normal map on that one. I can't believe I didn't notice it before, but then again, it really were a lot of colors and files to check.

Or was there some other problem with apricot? If so, which age(s)? In any case I'll fix the peach color because that one bugs me now as well and it's a quick fix and maybe that was it! Let me know if I got it wrong and if I did then at least peach got fixed.

As requested, I've made a version of the custom cauldron to have the new functions added with @midgethetree's Custom Potions Made Better mod. I've playtested it a little and I think everything works fine but let me know if there are problems because I'm a little rusty!

There are 3 new versions, the first one is with just the new options to make custom potions, the second one is with faster reagents and the third one is with both of them. None of them are compatible with the original, so choose one (or replace the old version with a new one of choice)!

Also, you need Midge the Tree's original file (midgethetree_betterccpotions-witchescancraft) to make my custom cauldron with the new potion options work.

I have not touched the default version and frankly I don't recommend using that one anyway, it's a mess and it probably won't work with other mods, but I keep the link up in case people really want it, it does work fine after all without any mods altering cauldrons or spellbooks.

Is your carpet covered in wood chips? Are you afraid the smoke from your cauldron is going to alert the neighbors? Is your ceiling black because you are too stubborn to put your cauldron in the garden instead of inside the house? Then look no further! 

With these modern appliances you no longer need to start fires in your own residence. The modern witch has electricity at their disposal and it’s about time they are able to use it to their advantage.

The cauldron has two optional power cord recolors, but it comes with an invisible recolor as default so you don’t have to use it. It has the same options as the Cast Iron Cauldron (original cauldron), so brew away!

Tired of reading difficult passages by candlelight? Does the design of the stand not fit your otherwise modern interior? Are you dreading the day you have to move and find three neighbors to help you carry your stand down the stairs?

The spell book changes with the witch’s alignment like the Grandiose Grimoire (original spell book). It comes with a custom accessory that is used in the animation when another sim examines the book. The one thing I couldn’t fix is that the book stays neutral in the animation. That’s a problem with the original spell book too, so if anyone knows how to fix it, be my guest! Fixed for my spell book, grab the fix here for the Grandiose Grimoire.

For the spell book I’ve used textures from The Sims 4: Realm of Magic and upscaled them a little bit. If you want the closed books, Gryning has converted them here.

I have default replacements for those who want them too, you can mix and match them so you don’t need to replace them both. You might have to replace your current cauldrons and spell books in use for them to show up correctly. I’ve made them buyable in the catalog, so if you have the default you won’t need the custom version as well. I would even advice against it, since the recolors will conflict if you do.

If you use a default version, you can also place the cauldron default replacement file in C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection\Fun with Pets\SP9\TSData\Res\Catalog\Bins (or your latest EP folder) in order to avoid getting a custom content star for the object.
