the thing is shauna could never really love anyone like she did jackie and it’s not only the guilt, though it plays a large part for sure… it’s that jackie was her center of gravity so without her all shauna’s really been doing is drifting. maybe she wanted out, but in another world she would’ve come back to her after seeing that no one could fill the emptiness the way jackie could, only in their reality she’ll never have that chance.

I firmly believe this is Lottie’s way of saving Natalie’s life. She steps in the moment Shauna says, "I think it's obvious what happens now,"—a clear implication that Shauna thinks they should kill Nat. Lottie understands that the only way to diffuse the situation is to surrender Nat's leadership to Shauna. If she didn’t, Shauna and her supporters would ensure Natalie’s death to solidify her place at the top. This isn’t a betrayal; it’s Lottie protecting Natalie the only way she can.

My favorite thing about Mari is she is canonically dumb. Pick a fight with the butcher. Insult the girl who knows you were dumped for someone's cousin. Dump some mushrooms that appeared out of nowhere from the girl who is a known poisoner into the stew. It will require no suspension of disbelief when she falls right back into the same pit Ben found her in.
