Hi! For your default of ambodyshirtflares, "CASIE_ambodyshirtflares_greenbowler" the bottom half of the sim is disappeared :(

Is anyone having this problem? Anon could you check if this default conflicts with a catalogue sorter or hider or another default - put just it your download folder.

From Tumblr to Pillowfort: An escape plan for simmers,  aka “let’s get the eff outta here”.

Because I’m repetitive and annoying like that :D

Disclaimer: I’m not affiliated with Pillowfort in any way, shape or form. I’m just a long time Tumblr user who’s had enough of this site’s antics/a staff that just WON’T CARE and is desperately trying to rebuild the community elsewhere. I already tried multiple alternatives (Wordpress, Instagram, Twitter, Blogger, Dreamwidth, nT, Mastodon, ANYTHING) but I honestly didn’t like any of them. I recognize that Pillowfort is NOT perfect, but it’s the best Tumblr alternative I found so far, which is why I’m so insistent about it.

Also, I won’t list again the reasons why I’m starting to feel more and more frustrated with Tumblr lately (but in case you’re curious, there’s an entire tag called “tumblr sucks” on my blog dedicated to my rants) and I already wrote a post (astraeanevermore[dot]tumblr[dot]com/post/619981104001204225/so-it-looks-like-pillowfort-has-been-getting-a-few) explaining what Pillowfort is and why I think you guys should join it.

A popular concern I’ve encountered about Pillowfort, however, is about the site requiring a fee to register. And while that is a perfectly legit concern and one I completely agree with… there IS a workaround we could use.

However, this would require a little bit of cooperation from the community as a whole. More info under the cut!

Hey, Lottie. First things first, I'm a big fan of your defaults! Second thing second, I am experiencing an issue with your default for cmbodyshirtoverpants with the fakepeeps7 outfit. Several of the recolors (the one with the skulls, the one with the red sun, and the yellow one) don't have the right textures—they show up with the skin tone on the mesh. It's completely possible that the problem is related to me playing on a Mac, but do you have any idea what the problem could be?

I don’t have sims 2 installed but I think some recolors may require teen style stuff pack.

Update

I started posting defaults on my dreamwidth - https://lottie-sims.dreamwidth.org/. Also I need to upgrade my laptop - I can’t play without cooling pad. I’ll be getting new iMac 21,5′, but I still need to decide on configuration.
