Today I suddenly realized I no longer had the patience to watch a video that lasted more than a minute. It felt like I was constantly racing against time, needing to consume more and more in less and less time — even if I wasn’t even enjoying what I was watching.

I also noticed I had developed a habit of always listening to audio messages at maximum speed, even when it was so fast that I couldn’t understand and had to replay it.

Once I became aware of all this, I wanted to change it immediately. I went on YouTube — which I hadn’t opened in ages — and spent quite some time looking for a calm, productive video. That’s when I noticed how we’re constantly bombarded with endless information. People yell, the editing is exaggerated, the topics are always about judgment or controversy, they speak fast and often cut the sentence before it ends.

When I finally found some peaceful, enriching content, I challenged myself to watch it fully, without skipping even ten seconds. It was hard at first, but then I saw how good it felt.

That’s why I think it would be good if more people got back into the habit of watching longer, healthier videos. We don’t always need to be racing against the clock. Remember that.

Every time I post something on TikTok, it feels like I’m standing naked in a display window—so I immediately regret it and feel the need to delete it.

I still can’t believe O Boticário used shifting in a perfume ad just to draw attention. It’s honestly shocking how some people think it’s super cool and don’t see that they’re using something so intimate and delicate just to make money — while clearly mocking the shifter community. They literally compare shifting to taking hallucinogenic mushrooms. The fake-shifting acting, the brand spreading shifting just for marketing… it’s all so disrespectful.

I used to reject myself. I wanted to be as little feminine as possible and forbade myself from so many things. I think the "I hate pink" phase is never really about the color.

I'm the oldest sister of two boys, so I always had to be strong for them, no matter what. People never went easy on me — I was constantly made the butt of the joke at family gatherings, treated like some kind of freak.

And then I found out about shifting (not right away, but once I really understood what I wanted), and I started freeing myself from all of that.

I allowed myself to wear makeup, dresses, paint my nails, read romance books and all those things.

It might sound small or silly, but to me... it's wonderful. I love this.

I’ve never felt like I belong in this reality since I was a little kid, and then when I discovered shifting, everything made sense.

Before my s/o, I used to look at babies and think, 'how cute! But stay far away, I don’t want to be a mom.' And now I just caught myself watching a video of an adorable baby thinking, 'Oh my God, she’s so cute!!!!! When will it be my turn?? If I have his kids, will they look more like him or me??'

I really don’t like what some shifters do, that’s why I can’t stand Shiftok anymore. For example: it’s already the third time I see a shifter making a video saying that your s/o only loves you because of the things you added to your script. Like, why would you want to make someone feel bad? It’s not just a silly little video, because it messes with the minds of more sensitive people. It’s almost like invalidating the way their s/o feels about them.

I wish I could draw well, just so I could make silly drawings about my DRs and things like that. It seems so cute and fun. I'd be so proud after making a drawing about my favorite things.
