update on dulcet game’s discord server: 3 people got banned for sharing criticism (most directly toward the mods). note: I had never been warned or muted the entire time I was in the server, including before the screenshots came out. this happened when I jumped into the conversation to give my opinion after two people told me they have been banned.

me: light purple (my ban is in the first image below).

mods: green (will not be censored since I want y’all to see who is biased).

argument: I had just realized after sending my message that it was shortly deleted. i questioned them and proceeded to share another response that is essentially the same with more words.

mod replies with “thank you for rewording,” and admits she had deleted my message. I respond with “but the message includes the same points?” as I was typing out a final response, I was banned from the server. silver is another member who multiple people have stated was hostile (consistently swears) and should be punished- the mods have said they have punished them but continue to defend them in the public discord.

mods reasoning for banning me:

if I had “crossed the line before,” how come I had not received a warning or mute before my ban? the mods claim to have “warned” me, most likely in a roundabout way when scolding everyone, despite no official bot sending me a message that I was “warned.” if everyone is being scolded, how am I supposed to know if I am warned? why give “warnings” in chat when you can do so officially in dms? saying you have “warned” someone can be misleading since arguments with the mod- which has happened with multiple people, not just me- could either be just that (an argument!) or an actual warn.

and how can it be a “majority vote” despite there being three mods? these mods were waiting for the right time to ban me after I had lost my patience, as I was not going to “suck up” to them, and no doubt were glad about it. after antagonizing me for bringing up concerns multiple times (along with other people who were also banned or scolded), making jokes in inappropriate places, they blame me for taking things too far.

it is obvious the mods have a bias towards those who criticize DG, as today only proves that they will ban anyone who questions them too much, or criticizes the staff. if you act in any way other than pure politeness, you will get banned eventually.

you can read more about their discord/staff unprofessionalism here. again, do not support Dulcet Games. do not join their discord server. one mod has called for criticism to cease in the server, and it is blatantly obvious they just want to remove anyone that will “cause drama.” the fact they are still the official mods shows DG hasn’t learned anything from their “callout.”

Responses - MJ (Part 3)

On the 28th of November, after fans had begged for MJ to write her OWN apology in the previous day, she went ahead released her statement. The apology was mostly the same as Serena's with few new phrases added.

Here she claims that all of the bigoted comments that she and Serena had said were never "malicious".

Here we have the artist Lawrichai, which MJ nor Serena never addressed or apologized to. Is calling the artist, Lawrichai, who they bullied for her looks and age "Cooch lady", a "bitch" and "SJW hoe" not malicious?

Going on to then bully her looks and call her names? To which both MJ and Serena have never addressed the situation nor apologized to Lawrichai. Is "This b*sh had to be german" "only germans produce such ugliness" not malicious?

Is stalking and breaching the privacy of a co-worker to then keep files on them, not malicious? "Why do you think Sun is afraid of me?" why would anyone need to be afraid if your intents were never malicious?

Is saying "this is straight up mental r********** even the autistic kids would pity her" not malicious? Was it supposed to be a compliment? Clearly not.

Is wanting to record Gen without consent, not malicious? "She does not deserve my morals" is this not malicious intent?

Is calling her a "BBQ becky" not malicious? And then claiming her to a racist, when she has never shown to be, and without any proof to back it up, not malicious?

"Raf smh the mushrooms must have fried his brain too" is that not malicious?

Is calling OceanBlue a "gold digging murderer" not malicious? Calling her "Ted bundy"? Especially against an alleged a 16 year old, if we go off the claim that it is not MJ herself.

Is saying "olivier as an america: get my gun lets kill them" and "HE WOULD LOL", not malicious? What was the intent then? To be positive?

Is saying "a lot of lesbians here look like thev" about a transgender man, not malicious? Basically saying that a transgender man looks like a female German lesbian.

MJ even points out what she says is "bashing". She knows her own intent here is to be malicious, yet in her apology claims it isn't?

Is "these european trans men are something", "what kind of hormones do these trans men get in europe", "bet it was Dr mike", not malicious?

Is "at least I have one", "I will learn to respect you once you have a 22cm" not with malicious intent? MJ never addressed the transphobia, and maliciousness of her own boyfriend's bigotry, and neither did Sun himself.

I could go on forever here, but I will cut it short. MJ and Serena really make a fool out of everyone by lying that anything they had to say, never had any malicious intent when so much of the bigotry and comments, clearly did.

Then she moves on to the doxxing and privacy breach allegations, to which she says she "lacked maturity a year ago". A year ago she was 23 years old, and a fully grown woman. It is quite shocking a 24 year old had to be called out on bullying to see that it is wrong.

Claims she never released information about Gen that wasn't given out by Gen herself, yet in messages, it was clearly shown that Serena and MJ dug purposefully for information which they then shared to themselves and others.

"I did some googling", "I spend a lot of time finding outside of DG servers". So what happened to only using information that Gen shared in spaces present with you?

If you never needed information other than what Gen herself gave out, why did you go googling and searching stuff about her? So far as finding her personal pictures and stuff about her family?

Apologizes to her in public, but never bothers to give a genuine apology in private. We can see here that this is clearly all for show.

Again, to repeat myself from previous tweets, many people lash out when angry or frustrated, but if they are good people, they don't immediately turn to transphobia, pedophilic jokes and bullying when they are mad or lashing out.

Why is this your first course of action when you are mad at someone? To start saying bigotry to go straight to disturbing jokes or comments when you are "lashing out emotionally"?

This shows that there is a problem here to begin with that is not to do with Thev, OceanBlue or anyone else.

Here she claims that she had Pinkie's profile picture on her desktop to revere google search it and find Pinkie.

Even if this was the truth, it would be impossible to find her as the profile picture is Jennie from Blackpink who is extremely famous and has thousands of the same picture online, with thousands of accounts. 

You also do not need to save a picture to your computer to reverse image search. This seems like a lot of hassle and inconvenience for someone wanting to find Pinkie, making the process harder for herself.

Again, if Sonia was truly a real person and "accidentally" got the roles of a staff, how would she know how to do mod commands and purge when her account only existed for around a month at that time? We save from the logs, that she was purging at the same time as Serena and MJ.

To be able to purge in the first place, she would've had to write in the chats, to where MJ and Serena would've seen. She may have had to even write in the same chats as them. So this means that Sonia would've been seen doing this.

Sonia also appeared constantly at the side of the mod chat, showing she was online, and had access. This was only noticed and called out, when a new mod had just joined and seen it.

The new mod had just joined and already saw Sonia, so how did nobody else ever see Sonia appear at the side of the staff chats? If it was also MJ's mistake, why did she not alert the mod chat about the situation or warned them?

Almost as if everyone knew about Sonia's existence already. MJ never even addressed Sonia until the new mod called it out, and no other staff made a comment about it.

Again, if she is not these alts, why did she not address all of these users having a German Macbook (which she herself owns) while supposedly being from different-speaking countries. When fans brought this question up during chats, they were ignored.

Again, giving a public apology to these people for show, but no genuine apology in private. If Serena and MJ were truly sorry for all the things they had done, their first thoughts and actions would be to go and privately apologize to all the people they had hurt and affected.

Here she claims her review was not fake. The reason the review is fake, not because of what MJ wrote that she felt about Sweet Elite, but because she LIED that she was not affiliated with Dulcet, and pretended to be a random, disconnected fan, which she was not.

Here she even admits herself that she pretended to be someone else and used an alias because she was affiliated with the company. So in turn, she admits she lied in the review, and tricked people. She then later fully admits she lied.

When confronted, Serena mentioned that her review of Black Tarot was not taken down because writing the review itself was a problem, but because the words she wrote in the review were not great.

So if Serena says that being affiliated with Dulcet and leaving a review about a game from Dulcet, is all okay, why didn't MJ just do that instead of lying and pretending?

She could've just left a review as MJ herself, or instead made a genuine review and just sent it to Serena in private.

If there was an "anxiety about bias" why did she leave the review in the first place? Serena also says "isn't it a good thing she wanted to separate her CM account and her fan one?" when those two things can never be separated. They are the same person.

To repeat again, it isn't a good thing, because she lied about who she was in that review in order to make people believe something that isn't real.

Serena and MJ both always mention "out of context" and "snippets" pretending that things are taken out of context, when in most cases, context is not even needed to see that their actions are horrible. Most of the messages are worse WITH context, to which I have shown before.

I never claimed that anyone is a monster or used this word, this is MJ's own words about herself. I also never used "snippets" to paint her as a monster. I used messages which she herself typed and then decided to send, and then called them out.

If she thinks these make her a "monster" then she agrees that they must be malicious and disgusting. If so, why use excuses and lies to justify them?

At the end of her statement, she claims that she is not "the person she was 1 year ago", again using a distancing tactic, but also, lying.

If she is nothing like the person 1 year ago, why then in this year, of 2021, did she make jokes about N*zis and W*rsaw Gh*tto? Why she and Serena rude and condescending to fans?

Why when only 4 months ago, this was brought up to them by fans, they again replied condescendingly and then justified their terrible actions with excuses? Guilt-tripping the fans who brought up the concerns and trying to make them feel bad for criticizing their actions.

These are not only "1 year ago", "4 months ago" offenses. Every year since the release of Sweet Elite in 2018, there has consistently been serious problems or drama related with Dulcet. Which spans from problems with staff, management, to fans and inappropriate actions.

The Dulcet staff members have a tendency to reply to only fans who support/defend them, and ignore people who call them out or show proof against their lies. This shows the clear bias, and shows they are not interested in taking true accountability.

Responses - Olivier (Part 2)

After Serena's apology was released, Olivier, the CEO, took it upon himself to insert himself in a conversation between Serena and the fans, when no one was speaking to him, nor asked for his presence.

Here he inserts himself into the conversation and tells hurt fans how to feel and act. Acting all-mighty and telling people to leave the server and stop playing the game. Telling them to stop asking for the apologies that they deserve.

In the previous screenshot, he also starts being rude to a fan who rightfully says that fans can ask what they want. In response, Olivier gives them attitude, threatening to ban or mute them even though he does not own the server nor is an admin or mod.  This basically proves that he himself is in charge of the new Server Boss account "DulcetGames" who has those roles. Which is bad considering a previous conversation, where fans rightfully questioned who owned the DulcetGames account, he then kept trolling them with the answer of "Dulcet Games" multiple times, instead of just seriously answering the fans' questions in a professional manner.

He also claims that the person can "talk like that" to their friends but "not him", as if he is above the fan or in charge of the fans. Though the fan's "Sit down" could be seen as rude, it is more offensive for Olivier to come and tell people what to do.

Here fans are offended by Olivier's attitude and his actions.

Here he is being condescending to a fan, telling them to "read a book on law" and debating the meaning of the word "allowed" instead of addressing issues. Then later he starts to yell at fans, while still being condescending to genuine concerns.

Then, when fans ask him why he butted into the conversation unprovoked and started to argue with fans for no apparent reason, he replied with snark at fans claiming "I have too much faith in humanity" and "None of you are willing to forgive anyone".

He basically implies that by fans being offended and questioning Serena, that he loses faith in humanity, as if the reaction of the public against the apologies and threads is not valid. He then says he has "too much time to waste"...Which is concerning for a CEO to be saying. In the above conversation, one fan repeatedly asks him to add the feature for fans to be able to delete their accounts, to which he tells them to "wait". He should be busy working on this feature, instead he comes to the Discord claiming he has time to waste, and then wastes time.

Fans express how they did not ask Olivier to be involved in the conversation between them and Serena, and Serena comes in to defend her boyfriend even though he is being rude to people.

Again, he starts to yell at fans, and give them a condescending attitude in response to fans expressing their valid opinions. He also claims to have no obligation to answer fans or to be "a decent CEO"....This is extremely concerning.

We can see he is a CEO who does not care how he acts or what he says. It is not surprising why then he does not care about the actions of Serena or MJ, if he exhibits the same behaviors as them. He also claims he "doesn't owe anybody anything" yet he is the one who inserted himself into the conversation without being asked.

Then, he starts being plain rude to members of the Discord and targeting them with rude comments.

When someone tells him to calm down, he claims to be getting pissed off by the fans. The fans who brought up genuine concerns and who were having a conversation with Serena, and not him? The fans who deserve explanations and apologies, for the abhorrent behavior of Dulcet staff?

He then starts to make sarcastic and condescending jokes to fans, later on saying he "doesn't care about being professional". Again...this is majorly concerning and disrespectful to his staff, his co-workers, the fans...This shows he doesn't care about his company or the fans.

Here, he claims he is a "volunteer" at a company he OWNS, then when mentioned from a fan that he should leave this line of work, he says he is "considering it"

Fans at the end of this conversation express their disappointment and shock about the actions of the CEO.

Through the actions of Olivier, we can see that this is a company wide problem, and not just two staff members. Olivier acts inappropriately as the CEO and as the leader and example, he allows his company to have bad-mannered employees, which then he does nothing about. It is also disappointing, and further shows the incompetency of Dulcet, how Rafael, Serena or MJ never stopped Olivier or told him how he was behaving was wrong while the conversation happened.

Responses - Serena (Part 1)

November 27th was the day of all responses from Dulcet Games about all the issues. However, multiple things that happened yesterday were not satisfactory. Many people have complained about the responses and I will address those points.

Following through on the last screenshot, I went around and asked the people involved if they ever received an apology from Serena and Dulcet.

There was only one person who confirmed to have received an apology (who asked to not be mentioned). An anonymous source also spoke to Gen and confirmed that she also did not receive an apology (only from MJ in her apology post). I have not asked others such as Lunaris Games, however I assume they probably did not get an apology. I also did not see an apology towards the Beemoov fandom as a whole, for the things said about them. A source also confirmed that Wanderlust Games did not get an apology from anyone at Dulcet.

Here she pretends to not know what the meaning of the R slur was. This just shows that she doesn't feel bad for what she even said, she just feels bad she got caught. If one truly felt bad about their actions, they wouldn't keep making up lies to save face.

She claims that "I was not aware in English it was a slur used against mentally ill people" But then in the phrase in question, she is very clearly using the R slur with the word "MENTAL" and "AUTISTIC" showing she did know what it meant.

Again, the same as what a fan brought up in the Discord, in one of the screenshots MJ points out herself the word is a slur, and Serena claims she thought MJ was "joking". This excuse is ridiculous, why would MJ joke about that? When called out on her lie, she begins to make up another excuse while saying she has "no excuse for that one". She is also using a distancing technique of saying "I can't recognize myself at all", trying to separate herself from the Serena who was bigoted.

The claiming she did not make a connection between the slur and the mental illness, which makes no sense. Then mentioning again there is no excuse for her to say that, after spending 2 paragraphs trying to write excuses.

"Wasn't my intentions to hurt any of you" but it was your intention to hurt Gen since you used autism and the R slur, to mock Gen. Even if, for the general public, your intention wasn't to hurt them, it doesn't matter. By using mental illnesses as an insult, you then perpetrate the notion that they are something bad and continue the stigma. Instead of owning up, you instead tried to lie and make excuses. She ignored this point brought up by a member in the Discord.

In multiple messages she claims she "doesn't work at Dulcet anymore" and that she and her game are not linked with Olivier's actions or Dulcet. However, how can she truly be unlinked when her boyfriend is the CEO?

From Olivier's own words we know he is not professional, so who is to say that he "fires" Serena in public, but allows her the same power as before? Also, how can she even be completely removed from this power when the CEO is her boyfriend. Due to them being linked, there will be a clear bias and CAN be bias in the future. Why was it predictable that they would hide behind "dark humor"? These types of "jokes" or "venting" isn't dark humor, it's just sick. There is a huge excuse of "venting".

So this is how you vent? By being transphobic when you are mad at someone? By being bullies? At the age of 23+? It is not good enough. This is not venting, this is bigotry and bullying. So if the intentions don't matter, why did you spend an entire paragraph trying to give an excuse that it was just a "joke" or just "venting"?

Completely didn't address the situation with the artist, Lawrichai, here, neither in the chat after Serena was asked by some members about it. Interesting that they only focus on Gen. Even then, they again use the excuse of "venting".

Again, comments like "I'm gonna make you hate yourself more than you ever did" or "Gen is poor and from (state), the incest is strong" are not venting, they are sick.

"Excited" and "giddy" about "destroying" her is not the appropriate response of 24 year old women, in a professional company, about a co-worker they have a problem with.

Another thing, which is that both Serena and MJ used Gen's public information to go and then find other information to do with Gen, such as searching for photos of her, and going to her family's social medias.

They still went digging and searching for her information, to then mock and bully her. Again, they mention there is no excuse for their actions, but spend an entire paragraph claiming they were just "venting" and only bullied her because she "gaslighted" and "manipulated" them.

Whether that is true or not, instead of handling the situation like the adults they are, they decided to bully her. In a normal, decent company, if instead of settling issues like normal people, you instead stalk them online and bully them, you would be fired.

Another thing here is that MJ was never accused of being Thev. There is a whole paragraph related to him, when the only time he was brought up was during the "Transphobia" section of the threads.

Even then, the paragraph about Thev in the apology would never excuse the transphobia said by both Serena and MJ. The entire focus is not on Thev or anything about him, but instead the transphobic comments and jokes made, and the sole fact that those types of thoughts were in their heads to begin with.

Either way, if your respect for someone being transgender ends when you no longer like them, then that is not support towards the transgender community, but only towards those you deem worthy of your respect. Picking and choosing who you will respect being transgender is wrong. 

Another excuse which Serena makes for talking badly about fans, is that she was only talking about "toxic" fans who have harassed her, and "venting" (again), and that she does not believe her fans are stupid.

So here, she hates on a certain fan but then still wants them to be "hooked on Kortia forever" to be Serena's money maker. Yes, she dislikes many of hers fans, but both her and MJ act fake towards these fans to make them profit. Where is the genuineness?

"Yeah you're right they're dumb", "write as if you are talking to kindergarteners". This is not venting, this is claiming you fans are stupid to your boyfriend, even when at first he protested this opinion. In the end, even the CEO agreed that fans are dumb.

This is not venting nor talking about toxic fans, this is talking about normal fans and claiming they are dumb. At first, Sonia was not denied. Then later Serena foes this in the chat claiming it was some "drama seeking fan". When questioned on this ridiculous explanation (such as Sonia knowing how to purge and do mod commands and the German Mac screenshots) she ignores this.

She implies with her responses that she did not even ask MJ if she was Sonia, and just assumed so. "From what I saw", "It wouldn't surprise me", "I believe she gave the mod role by mistake".

This shows that Serena clearly did not discuss the situation with MJ, and just assumed it was false probably because they are friends. It is even a wonder if she read the alt thread properly.

Pretends that what MJ did by leaving a deceitful review was not illegal. MJ was deceitful by pretending she was not affiliated with Dulcet Games. If you have to use an alias or lie about who you are to leave the review, then maybe you shouldn't do it.

Then she claims that the xenophobic comments were "taken out of context". This is a plain lie.

Due to Serena lying and trying to use "context" as an excuse for this, I took it upon myself to then release the full context of the conversation. It is disgusting instead of taking accountability, she shifts the blame on something else.

"I just read olivier does a genocide spree on g******" "I better hide" Even your co-worker was shocked by this, and you still lie that it was a harmless "joke", "venting", "out of context" and a bunch of other excuses. "Making it seem like I would say Olivier would shoot Romanis". Nobody made it seem this way, you just said it. Point brought up by a fan, and ignored. Clearly because they cannot find any excuse to mask this. They claim they never wanted to breach privacy yet said this.

Both MJ and Serena have claimed that over 1 year ago they have said these things, and have changed. They have said they don't know who those people are from 1 year ago. The constant "Nothing can excuse our actions BUT-" and then follow through with a bunch of excuses or blame shifting. The accountability is not there if you can't actually take it without then putting the blame somewhere else, or make random excuses.  Then other times, talking about some completely unrelated to the things they should take accountability for, to divert focus of the fans who are reading the apology.

How are fans supposed to be able to trust what MJ says when multiple times she has shown she acts fake to gain information or manipulate people? (Acting in DMs to Gen and acting in DMs to Lawrichai, lying to them both and being fake to gain trust).

Again, with both Serena and MJ it is hard to believe they have changed in a year, since some events happened in 2021 (for example, the response to the fan manifesto). If during July 2021, they were ignoring and shutting down fans, belittle them and lying to them, and only now come to apologize with excuses because they got caught, do they really feel bad? They ask in their apologies for a second chance, but the fan manifesto WAS the second chance, which they blew AGAIN. It seems they have not changed much at all.

I just saw the “apology” and I have to say…

Is it really that hard to just say, “Yeah I fucked up, have no excuse, I will do better?” Serena? Is it really so hard to move your butt out there to say something MJ?

But it seems like, its really much more easier to shift the blame on others. “Buhu she gaslighted us all” is the typical excuse of someone who is trying to save their own little butt, nothing more. Because even IF someone did that, than why you never talked to them or get them out of the company? Why never doing anything against it?

Whatever happend between anyone of you, didnt excuse anything of what you did and said about these people. You really managed to make that situation worse for you, than it is already.

And the whole stuff with Olivier… business school seems not to make you any kind of smarter huh?

conclusion

what i have witnessed in the discord server was appalling. no CEO should be interacting with fans this way, nor should the mods think it is acceptable to be “joking” around with fans that dismiss their legitimate questions. at the end of the day, no one was held accountable: MJ was given a “second chance” and is planning on publishing her apology sometime soon, Serena, while not officially “working” for Dulcet Games, is still platformed and used for monetary gain, as Sweet Elite is the only reason why Dulcet Games still exists, and Olivier continues to treat fans disrespectfully and arrogantly without consequences. therefore, whether you believe Serena has officially “changed,” I would still question whether it is the best idea to continue supporting such company that allows such behavior and cannot, for the life of them, create boundaries with their fans or show the bare minimum respectful behavior.

re serena’s apology: one cannot become a “new person” overnight, and while I am not saying Serena does not feel regret for what she has done, it is difficult to tell whether she is upset that her company has been tarnished and her image ruined (with her demotion), or whether she is truly guilty for saying the wrong things. even I cannot know, because it entirely depends what direction the company and Sweet Elite will head towards, and whether Serena fixes her behavior through her actions, rather than her insistence that she’s changed. and it is especially hard to believe anything will change for the better with someone like Olivier running the company.

one person in the server left a very valuable comment that summarizes what I believe would be the best course of action.

whether you believe Serena is sincere, or feel sorry for her, it does not mean you owe her your forgiveness. and remember, if you are not a minority targeted by Serena and MJ, or apart of the development team (or any person who was insulted), this is not your apology to accept.

as I’ve mentioned in my previous post, if we want to hold these people accountable, I would advise everyone not to play Sweet Elite, not to spend money on it or promote it through fan-works. I have seen posts in the SE tag of people continuing to support the game despite them “disavowing their actions,” and I will tell you if you do not support Serena’s or MJ’s actions, especially after today, then you should not play the game. any support will promote Sweet Elite and therefore DG, and thus you cannot separate the artist from the art.

in my honest opinion, there is no reason for Sweet Elite should continue at this moment- not with incompetent moderators, not with an incompetent CEO, and not with the struggling writers. these people need to reflect on their actions before ever attempting to create a game, because no matter how “good” their game is, their behavior and ideals will always be more important.

re serena’s apology: one cannot become a “new person” overnight, and while I am not saying Serena does not feel regret for what she has done, it is difficult to tell whether she is upset that her company has been tarnished and her image ruined (with her demotion), or whether she is truly guilty for saying the wrong things. even I cannot know, because it entirely depends what direction the company and Sweet Elite will head towards, and whether Serena fixes her behavior through her actions, rather than her insistence that she’s changed. and it is especially hard to believe anything will change for the better with someone like Olivier running the company.

one person in the server left a very valuable comment that summarizes what I believe would be the best course of action.

whether you believe Serena is sincere, or feel sorry for her, it does not mean you owe her your forgiveness. and remember, if you are not a minority targeted by Serena and MJ, or apart of the development team (or any person who was insulted), this is not your apology to accept.

as I’ve mentioned in my previous post, if we want to hold these people accountable, I would advise everyone not to play Sweet Elite, not to spend money on it or promote it through fan-works. I have seen posts in the SE tag of people continuing to support the game despite them “disavowing their actions,” and I will tell you if you do not support Serena’s or MJ’s actions, especially after today, then you should not play the game. any support will promote Sweet Elite and therefore DG, and thus you cannot separate the artist from the art.

in my honest opinion, there is no reason for Sweet Elite should continue at this moment- not with incompetent moderators, not with an incompetent CEO, and not with the struggling writers. these people need to reflect on their actions before ever attempting to create a game, because no matter how “good” their game is, their behavior and ideals will always be more important.

1. Serena got removed from her position

She is no longer COO of the company, which is good dont get me wrong, but she is still in the company, after all the things she did and wrote, and still a writer because her game is the only one that updates so its the only one that brings money, no surprise there but still disgusting

2. MJ will continue working there

She is still in the company and they are asking for a second change AFTER SHE LIED TO PEOPLE, DOOXED THEM AND SHOWED NOTHING BUT JUST DISGUSTING BEHAVIOR THAT IS NOT EVEN WORTH CALLED BEING HUMAN BEHAVIOR. This person deserves nothing but being removed from any position

More mocking and bullying of others

As we have seen before with Lawrichai and AnimeGenork, Serena and MJ make fun of @kornyo​ (ex-staff of Dulcet Games), and then of Cecile’s appearance. MJ even dug up a picture of Cecile from the internet to mock it.

Why do they have to bully and judge everyone based off looks? Whenever something happens, they always start to say that the person of topic is ugly. Even going as far as mocking all Germans.

Okay so here it goes cause if I don't say it I'll explode: unpopular opinion.

So, for context, yesterday someone asked Serena on twitter about the canon orientations of the main 10 and she answered that she doesn't give orientations to her characters, aside of a "hint" for Neha and Karol (since they have crushes, so you can tell that at least they like that gender) and that everybody can headcanon whatever they want. Which, is odd to me cause people will headcanon regardless of their canon orientations.

This is not the first time this conversation have happened, once in the discord server she even gave her own personal "head"canons, which really rubbed me the wrong way, even if they weren't "canon" (which is strange you know, she's the author).

It might sound silly but character orientations are actually important. They are in terms of visibility and education in our actual world. I'm not talking only about VNs and dating sim games, but in all games that include being able to date characters, giving them an orientation makes people learn about boundaries, makes them feel represented and also gives different lights to the character's development.

Also, to me, as a LGTB person, writing a character that I, the creator and writer of them, "headcanon" as, for example, homosexual, but then make them able to date every gender, is actually doing my character dirty, and in the case of not being able to hide it well and end up writing an homosexual-coded character, to the players too.

I've also read some articles which I agree with that talk about how not labelling your LI characters (in case of being able to being dated by every gender) is washing your hands, and in some cases it's just like "yeah just make everyone happy without actually saying they are LGTB". If you want to make a game about characters who can be dated by everyone just create characters that are attracted to every gender. And tbh, in that case label them or at least say they are attracted to every gender, not just wash it away with words like "they're what the player want them to be" cause in my opinion that's damaging to the LGTB community.

With this I'm not saying that having headcanons is bad and that fans shouldn't have headcanons: go ahead, that's really nice and I have my own headcanons too. But when the author "has" (how an author has a *head*canon?) and they aren't coherent with the game they're creating, and doesn't take risks just to "make everyone happy", in the end they're damaging the characters, the fans and the LGTB community.

As a fellow bisexual it really hurts me how this world, and the gaming community always invisibilizes us, and Serena had the power of giving people attracted to every gender the representation we deserve and threw it in the trash.

And don't be fooled, Sweet Elite doesn't have good LGTB representation. Apart from this, take other example: the only canonically non-binary character is Dr. Kim, they almost don't appear and they have little to no relevance in the game.

I just wanted to say this because this is my opinion, and it's something that triggers me and I needed to say it. You can think whatever you like, I just wanted to let it out, I clearly don't like her but I'm not cancelling anyone cause that's bullshit.

Love insterests headcanons

This time I was sent Serena’s headcanons on the love interest’s orientations.

We know that she didn’t have canon orientations for the main 10 as she admitted that what the fans headcanon is what really works. This is incoherent with their playing mechanic and also, as a writer, it can bleed in the characters.

Some headcanons are extremely biphobic, for example Tegan (straight but bicurious) and Axel (bisexual but thinks is pansexual). This last one also makes you wonder what’s her thought of process to differentiate bisexuality and pansexuality.
