I love that Mac’s sister is the only one smiling, but why is that? I mean I know that in old paintings they weren’t smiling because of social conventions, and smiling was seen as undignified

decided to give him an older brother bc he kinda gives middle child energy

also macs sister got a name change! her given name is now Ruyun 如云 (her true name is still white peony macaque though)

guess who just finished writing rough drafts for the chapters B) that's right, actually doing some prep work instead of adjusting the whole thing as i go ✨

i started getting more detailed with the last chapters bc those are the only one's i have more of a finished story in mind and not just key points, so that's why they're longer-

my working title atm is "what's in the past" but i'm not sure i like it-

also at this point i probably need a name for the whole au but i have no idea what to call it- if i don't come up with anything i'm just gonna call it the Bapf AU or something 😭 /hj
