I heard a snip of their newest song n I was like 'Whoa, That's actually really good! But fuck, I don't wanna like these guys, they're not good people*..." Not to worry, that song was actually ass hiding under the jeans of lies! Its was just a really raspy scream, their music is just as moody emo teen as it was when I was actually said teen!

This is my Silver eyes book from highschool.
It is very beaten up, I such a way one would ASSUME that I read it over and over. But, if you look at the pages...
Idk if it's bc I'm an autistic who was raised by an ADHD parent, my constant rapid glasses prescription changes or that the book is genuinely hard to understand but it was really hard to read for me as a teen. I'd make progress and just forget how we got to places we were in then go back a page or two, still not know then say fuck it and go back to the start. I wanted to know so badly but I went back so much that my teacher told me to stop reading it and try something else. It's so beat up bc I really wanted to know and I still don't know!! I kept thinking that I'd get back to it but now I'm 22 and still never did. The sadder thing is, I've had the other 3 books since they came out too bc my family was just as excited for me to want to read as I was but they have never been opened.
Last week, I found the 'podcast' on Spotify so I'm going to see if reading alongside it will help me. So far I have still had to go back twice BUT I think that's bc I was genuinely not paying attention. I thought I could make a sandwich while listening and I could not...
