That's what I think too

except that 1. I don't think Louis would stay & make sure Lestat dies in the fire 2. Louis burning Lestat in the theater is also in the book so it's no " fucking cool " plot twist that isn't in the later books . It's not a plot twist in my opinion Because people can already guess that the hints of it are in the book .

I think the big changes can be the following:

We saw that vampires in the show can be affected by drugs and wine, so I think Armand might have a hand on drugging Louis, Claudia and Madelaine, that's why they all look weirdly dumped during the trial.

Lestat looks 'fine' during the trial and Louis blames him for Claudia's death in a more direct way than the book.

Louis burns the theater but he also burns Lestat intentionally instead of accidentally (see the foreshadowing of Lestat's portrait burning).

Maybe in the 70s interview is when Louis's realises the hand Armand had on Lestat being in the trial.

Louis tries to find Lestat later in the 90s or 00s after he and Armand break up. We can't see Lestat's face during the hug so I am assuming that his face is still all fucked up.

This time Lestat rejects him, partly because all the shit that happened and also because he thinks Louis is a hallucination. So Louis goes back and that's why he is with Armand in the present day and why he still so resentful of Lestat/lying to himself.

This came to my mind what Jacob Anderson said about Louis not accepting his bad parts in his relationships, with Claudia, with Armand, with Lestat. The man doesn't cuddle Louis, he knows he needs a character arc and grow.

About the plot twist Sam said :

My theory is : Lestat is the one who will reject Louis & asks him to leave him when they reunite in NOLA . It's a plot twist that wasn't in Louis's pov or Lestat's. Bc Lestat himself doesn't probably remember it later thinking it never happened or too ashamed to say it .

it's something that was never quite solved in the books but in Anne's movie script it was so & if we look at the whole books it's Lestat who usually leaves to do his stupid sh*t it will be kinda accurate in later books . And more importantly ⬇️

there's a line in the trailer that Lestat said " we now belong in two different worlds " if that line is to Louis then it makes sense that it's Lestat telling it to Louis . I don't think he's telling that to Nicholas bc we're not supposed to get Lestat's pov of TVL yet .🤔

the writers already made a plot twist about Lestat's character that Sam didn't like & got over it anyway with their reasons, repeating that aspects of Lestat's character will not be any " plot twist " a plot twist is something we don't expect from a character. Ps Ep 5 revisit will happen in S2 as well .

Except of one of the writers I think the others know what they're dealing with . As much as S2 is Louis's story & memories it's Armand's story too because he was with Louie & Lestat both . The story is also has Daniel as well .

So they must keep that in mind that S3 is Lestat's pov & story so any plot twists should eventually be something different from what Armand & Louis believe it was . Or something that Louis doesn't expect or even something that Lestat himself expect from himself in how own pov . " Letting go of Louis " . As a matter of a fact maybe that's why neither Louie & Lestat didn't completely believe it happened .

The real question & dilemma is would he do it to Louis too ? Because we also know he sensitive he was over Louis in QOTD when he hated to even touch Louis because he was more powerful than ever after drinking Akasha's blood he hated the fact that he could crush Louis if he touches him . He also says in TOTBT that he wanted to kill Louis & to crush him bc of what how he betrayed him but deep down he knows he can't actually do it to Louis .

Item 1: you have a source who watches a screener and feeds you info. you’ve said this multiple times and clearly demonstrated that you know the difference between a screener and a person.

Item 2: you change to you have access to a screener.

Item 3: you speak to someone else who speaks to another person that has access to a screener.

Item 4: you are now backtracking that you didn’t know what a screener was even though you have differentiated between screener and person.

Item 5: now your source or friends source is not even a fan of the series so why would they have screeners and dedicate time to watch?

I'm not a native American . So I thought a screener is a person but apparently a screener is the episodes not a person . 😅

I contacted A person who has the screener. I don't have the Screener myself . This person is one of my sources of spoilers & she's not the one who gave me the Justin kirk spoiler .

My other source is a 3rd party there's someone I'm in contact with who she's the one who is directly in contact with another person who has the screener. And she told her who Justin kirk is in Ep 1-6 . However this source isn't a fan of the show or the books . So by spoiling that she didn't think it was important & she told us it's okay to spoil it publicly .

Ps if you can't trust my words that's absolutely up to you. I myself wouldn't 100% trust their words because they could be misleading us or maybe their perspective is different & they're biased but if there's any unreliability it comes from them not me because I'm telling exactly what that person told me . 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think there is some confusion with people misunderstanding your answers about spoilers source because you are using the word "screener" incorrectly 🤣

"Screener" is a video material, like an actual promotional video footage sent to reviewers. finished or unfinished in post production...

I know this because I work with screeners often (unrelated to entertainment industry). It's a video industry phrase...

The person who watches a screener is a reviewer, critic, journalist...

You saying you got some spoiler info from a "screener" made some people think you are saying you got actual screeners (video footage) yourself.

But what you probably meant is you got the info from someone who watched the screener...
