*Daughter's eating cheetos on the end of the bed while watching cartoons. Then looks at her hands and bursts into tears.* Me: Whoa whoa hey, what's wrong, Soph? What happened? Her: (while still crying) Mommy, I think I'm getting chicken pox on my hands. Me: Here let me see.... (gets up and checks) Me:... Me: Soph, that's not chicken pox...that's the cheese dust from your chips. Her: (looks at hand again and licks it) oh, OK. *Acts like she was never crying and starts laughing at the TV.* Smh. Drama Queen. Lol

Creepy kids.
Question.
Am I the only one who both absolutely loves the kids bedtime but at the same time positively dreads it?
I know I can’t be the only one who has ever been slightly terrified of their children at bedtime. I mean, everyone’s had that experience at least once, right? No?
Well then.
Let me just explain to you how my child just scared the ever loving shit out of me.
My kids have an unlimited supply of energy(I’m not joking) and if th do ever get low, I swear the words dont do that give them their extra boost of it. They literally ran around all day, like most kids do. Rough Housed with each other. Played with their dad as well- who, while were on the topic, is just as bad if not worse than the kids- then they refuse to take a nap. I oet it go, knowing they woulf be more tired tonight. They eat their dinner after playing hard all day and then a snack (because my kids snack nonstop). Take a bath, which resulted in a 30 minute clean up for me from them splashing in the tub, which resulted in the duck pond on my bathroom floor (rubber ducks, that is). Then like every night, they brush their teeth, drink a sip of water, we read the bedtime story because I mean, if we ever skip storytime it’s like the gates of hell have been opened and the end of the worlds upon us. I tuck them In, turn off the light and make sure the nightlights on before we all lay down because my kids refuse to sleep without my presence in the room.
Now, everything is goimg according to plan. I just have to wait for them to fall asleep and then i can have a little me time. So, it’s quiet for about 30 minutes and I’m assuming both my 4 year old daughter and my 2 year old son feel asleep…that is, until there’s a creepy, almost gargly grudge noise coming from my daughters bed- this is all happening in the dark, mind you- and I practically hiss at her to knock it off until it goes quiet again.
Ten minutes later, it starts back up again. I repeat the order for her to stop it and go to sleep before she wakes up her brother and ignore the fact that the noise she was making scares the bejeezus out of me and FINALLY, she knocks out…
So, now it’s finally quiet and I’m just doing my thing, reading things on my phone, getting ready to take a quick shower and get a good nights rest and all that jazz. It’s still dark in my room but no big deal, I’m used to it, and i can literally see just enough to see where my bathroom is from my bed. Plugging my phone on the charger I sit up and turn away from the kids to shut the window I’d had cracked open so they dont get cold while I’m in the shower, when the noise starts again and I turn to reprimand my daughter and nearly jump out of my skin when I see my son standing there, in the middle of the room, staring at me, doing creepy grudge noises before he bursts out laughing.
My two year old son to be specific.
So now not only does my daughter make the creepy noise, but my son- who i’d assume was asleep- realized it spooks me and will probably do it every night for god know how long.
And THAT my friends, is why I’m terrified of bedtime with my children.
😴 With That said, Goodnight all.
Scared Shitless,
DearMommyMe💜

Conversation
Hi all.
So I've never been big at blogging or any form of social Media but I realized lately that I need an outlet...and more importantly to be able to converse or rant with someone other than my 4 and 2 year olds. So here goes nothing.
Wish me luck...
And sanity. 😉😘😜
