i dont really know how to articulate this but its crazy just how many people dont even realize they dont care about female characters. all their faves are men. they never talk about girls without being led into it. and when you try to point this out to them they try to defend themselves that their faves are just the archetypes they like, despite clearly not caring when that same archetype is a woman. like i feel like at a certain point it is your problem with the common denominator if you cant find a single female character to enjoy

3. What was the first thing you decided on, the character's name, appearance, personality or their role in the story? / And reverse, which one of the four things did you struggle with the most?

personality i think...i had a pretty solid idea of personality/general demeanor before anything else! design is kind of unfair because shes so simple and baseline kolibri lol

actually going in order i think personality > design/name > role were first to last in terms of difficulty and what i focused on first, i could easily think of a baseline personality but it took a while to fully flesh her out! and planning her role in the og story as well as all the others takes a longggg time too....i prefer to go in with a general personality and build the role/design as i continue to build with other people (especially since weiss is kind of in a big shared world)
