“If I wanted to shop at a thrift store, I’d go to one. This’ll be way better for you,” Driz followed behind Georgette closely and beckoned her over to a rack of dresses, “Oh, these are so much better! But… they’re on sale. I don’t trust that…”
“You are so right.” The blonde followed her to a rack of dresses and noted the sale tags on them. “Driz, we are in a high fashion store. Not Macy’s.” She began before pulling out her phone to google the backless dress she picked out. She took note of the date the dress was released. “The dress is still in season and it looks to me the next wave of designs are about to hit stores.” She sighed with relief. “It’s a limited capacity store. We’re good.” She shifted almost happily through the dresses, trying to find one in her size.

whittyrabbit:
Whittier scrunched his brow nervously as Georgette fully put the saleswoman to shame in front of the entire clientele of the department store. He never did well with such public declarations. “…Georgette, was that really necessary?” He mumbled, looking around at all the petrified passerbys as the situation dissipated. “Perhaps the dress was, as you suspected, not in season. You obviously know more about these things than I do, but I don’t really believe that berating her like that, so publicly at her place of work was really worth it, do you?” Whittier asked again, his lips drooping in a sort of pout. “And I sincerely doubt people actually make presumptions about intelligence based on hair color.”
The perfectly placed smirk on her lips started to falter for only a second as she remembered Whittier was standing by her. “I was more than necessary, Whittier.” She wouldn’t look at him. Nothing could spoil her moment. Especially not her walking conscience. “You’re right. I do know more than you do.” She finally looked up at him then. “So you wouldn’t know what’s worth it and what isn’t.” Her voice never raised but the stern look on her face said every loud and biting word she wanted to say, along with a split second of remorse for the boy next to her. “Now did you pick something out yet, or not?”

If there was anything Anastasia admired most in others, it was their good fashion choices. Georgette Foxworth had impeccable style and so shopping at the same place as her was good for Anastasia’s reputation. It wasn’t like she planned to see the iconic moment unfold in front of her, but she almost wished she did. When Georgette finished speaking, Anastasia let out a small applause. “Finally, someone with style and sense.”
Georgette looked over to the girl, a smug smile placed on her lips exactly where it was always comfortable. “More so than anyone else in this town.” She mused as she ran her perfectly polished fingers through the rest of the rack. “I know you right?” She questioned the girl mostly out of curiosity. Georgette didn’t have many friends but many people knew Georgette. The perk of being an heiress.

Rapunzel stood in the store, looking at the sale they had on sundresses. Fifty percent off the whole store was a pretty good deal and while she wasn’t the biggest shopper, she could turn down something like this. But from the other end of the store, harsh words were spoken and her complex couldn’t help but butt in. “I’m sure they were just doing their job. And no one called you stupid. In a small town it’s kind of hard to get the latest trends.”
A sculpted brow quirked toward the brunette as she sifted through the clothing on the rack near by, not really paying much attention to what was on the hanger. “Their job, is to assist the shopper in getting them what they want.” She began inching her way around the rack. “What I wanted was something new. Not something I know for a fact was in your cute little clearance rack a week ago.” She scoffed toward the girl. “The blonde comment was merely for fun.” A sly smile tugging at the corners of her lips. The blonde was not used to not getting what she wants which usually tends to leave her in a rather malicious mood.

who are the most eligible singles in carthay?
Okay, Eric, Phillip, and Kit are at the top of this list, of course. Hans too, and Flynn should be at the top of this list, but I’m still unclear on how eligible he really is. We’re not just talking about bachelors here! I’m going to finish my list with Marie, Barbie, Georgette, and Anastasia. Let’s be real though, basically all of Carthay is single. Boring!( @lovcrxboy ) ( @philliplarson ) ( @chcrmingkit ) ( @thiirteenthinline ) ( @ridcrs ) ( @iconicroberts ) ( @lovelygfoxworth ) ( @stasiamaine ) ( @bnfmmile )

“Ew,” Drizella spat out as she followed after Georgette, “Half loop stitch? What were they thinking? I told you we should’ve gone to the Roberto Cavalli instead.”
Georgette rolled her eyes and continued walking out of the store. “Ugh, that is the last time I give a smaller store a chance. Remind me to never do that again.” She flicked a blonde curl over her shoulder as she headed towards the other girl’s suggested store.

“You’re joking right?” The blonde looked at the salesperson with a look of disgust. “All because I came into your store, looking like I have all the money in the world, that doesn’t mean you can try to sell me last season’s mark down as if it were something you just got in store.” She spat the words at the girl as if they were laced with venom. “I may be blonde, but I’m not stupid.” She turned her back immediately ignoring the worker, not noticing the other people in the store.

toughtito:
It was tiny, but Tito caught the smile edging over Georgette’s face as she saw the flowers, “Course they’re for you. I’m not giving flowers out to every beautiful girl I see, baby,” He suspected she knew the flowers were for her and only asked to delay any of his further flirting, but the fact they seemed to genuinely make her happy was enough of a win for now, “Not that anyone’s out here competing with you.”
“Let’s get these babies in some water, man,” He slid past her through the doorway and into the Foxworth’s foyer, marveling at the immaculate interior. He’d be lying if he said hanging out at the mansion wasn’t a major perk to knowing the family, but as he turned around to face Georgette in the doorway again, he remembered the whole point he came, “I got a reservation down at the boardwalk with our names on it tonight. What do ya say?”
Georgette smirked at the boy’s compliment. He really knew how to gas a girl up but the blonde wouldn’t give him the satisfaction of a genuine smile. The blonde moved to the side as he slid past her. Here we go.. “There should be an empty vase in the dining room.” She called to him as she closed the door behind him.
“A reservation?” She repeated, her brow quirking up in curiosity. She was prepared for some flirting and her eventually kicking him out or dumping the boy on one of her siblings, but not this. “You know you don’t have to reserve a table at your local sports bar, right?” She teased the boy more intrigued than in spite.
