Been getting to know the ladies behind @duchessride. This winter they launch the pilot session of their all-girls nonprofit aimed at cultivating tenacity in young girls through snowboarding and bringing those lessons to life off-board. To earn some street cred on the tenacity front, these snowboarders are pushing 300 miles on longboards, something very much out of their comfort zone. The girls have been high-altitude training in preparation and yesterday we had our first session learning how to stop. #duchessridesfurther begins on October 10th. @Duchessride @Duchessride @Duchessride

I’m headed out on a trip with some chikkiiiis.  We leave tomorrow night after I get off work in Colorado. I moved here 4 days ago from San Diego and now I’m headed back the same direction.  Traveling is traveling!  Happy to skate with some ladies again.  Yeeeeee!

Choo Choo! Mobbed some MILES this weekend with new friends after reuniting with @pushculture and @mcsharebare atop a colorful concrete mountain. Grip and rip runs in the desert, foggy runs in the mountain, fast, chundery and techy runs in the woods. Got pulled over on my skateboard, walked away with a sweet warning, saw the most epic sunset. I can't really describe how awesome this weekend was. At least not in one instablam. Thanks to @zackronick @farminghills and @invisogirl_ for being the peas in this rad little pod. Tribute to the baddest bitch I ever had the pleasure of spending the daily with. Throwback to mini breaks and San Diego warehouse days with @scottolagranola and Bella Fitzgerald two years ago. Thanks, B, for giving me a reason to come home, waiting patiently for my return when I left to travel, and coming with me when it was time to leave. I'll never find another skateboarding cockapoo as good as you. RIP Bella.

I've been living in Vail, Colorado for the winter. I've only tried to snowboard twice before moving here, but I've been up about 30 days now. I wouldn't say it has much to do with longboarding, but it's fun. Especially on spring days when you can board in leggings, and white out powder days where you best be buttoning your powder skirt.
