I would love to apply but I'm a little confused. If there are odd number of muses, you're going to kick one out of the rp? I noticed it said that they can reapply depending on how many slots, but if there were already an odd amount, wouldn't applying again just keep the odd amount? Or are they kicked out for the full 2 weeks? How do you decide who gets kicked out or not, it just seems a little unfair. I may just be understanding this wrong, I don't mean anything ill I'm just trying to understand

hi anon , no worries about the confusion but i think you've understood correctly !

just as in love island , the show which this rp is based on , contestants are eliminated if they cannot find a partner , or if they are voted out , the characters will be eliminated from the competition of our roleplay . in terms of how we "decide" , this is all done in character to avoid any ooc drama . no single person will ever decide who is eliminated , nobody ooc has any power over that . we always randomize the order which names are called to recouple and if it's a situation where muses are asked to vote someone off the island , this must be an in character response .

last time around the first 2 muses who were removed from the island were both admin characters , so trust us we know it can suck and feel weird , but we definitely do not kick anyone out of the roleplay .

in order to ease the pain of your character being eliminated we created an "eliminated contestants" groupchat where characters who left the group can still talk to one another and you can even continue to write threads with your couple after love island if they are eliminated as a pair . you will not be removed from the server unless you go completely inactive , decide to leave or break our rules .

one more important thing... we will only be accepting 20 characters for opening - and will then be accepting in batches every week. we will not at any time exceed 30 muses in the group as a lot of our events involve a lot of planning and it’s not feasible to have any more muses than that in the server. this means spots are limited so get your apps in while you can!
