Why can’t enjoying tickling be more normalized-

Like why can’t I just text a friend and be like, “Hey I had a rough day today, could you come over and tickle me for a bit?” Or maybe a “Your laugh is so cute! I can’t wait to tickle you later!” Even just a silly little, “Wanna have a tickle fight? Bet you can’t beat me!” 🦋

Don't you want to creep your fingers up my sides to my shoulder blades? Trace your name down my spine and do some fake outs under my arms? Goose my sides until I'm a squirmy giggly mess in my chair?

The joy it would be to have a partner who loves tickling just as much as you do. Could you imagine laying together in bed each night and turning to your partner and saying, “Hey. Could you maybe… *nudge nudge* do the thing…” 🦋 And your partner immediately knowing what you want and giving you all the gentle tickles while you snuggle together and fall asleep! 🦋

something i think ab often is a ler taking their time to see which spots or actions get the best reactions from me. starting at my head and arms and working their way down, just exploring all over with scratches, pokes, squeezes, etc. and commenting things like “oh! that was a big laugh, you must really like that don’t you?” or “that was such a cute giggle, if i tickle you there more i wonder if you’ll do it again!”

Ok but like imagine telling a lee to keep their arms above their head while tickling their armpits and if they put them down they get no more tickles..

No restraints & no pinning.

The lee can laugh, squirm, kick, yell, throw every insult they can think of at you and nothing happens- but as soon as those arms go down it’s over with.

What’s so great about this is that lee’s are used to getting intense tickles when they loose little tickle games like this, they win no matter what the outcome is, but changing it to no tickles makes it more interesting (and creates whiny lee’s).

Using little paint brushes & feathers to drag across their armpits while they struggle to keep those arms up for you. Lots of giggles and squirming.

Or…

Going crazy on their armpits. No mercy. Digging your fingers in them, using your nails to scratch at them, rubbing circles with your thumbs on them, if these are all done correctly then the poor lee shouldn’t last for more than a minute max. Lots of screaming and thrashing.

When the lee finally looses since we all know it will happen, you will be left with a very needy lee begging for more or an overconfident lee who will act like that was nothing and secretly wish the game continued.
