Ugh, so deeply, truly into the sheer level of trust and safety that the concept of relationships in g/t have, and the idea of someone tiny adoring someone gargantuan so much that not only are they willing to put their entire body and life in their hands, but to even ask to be overwhelmed by the sheer presence and power of a love like that; to believe that this colossus will treat them with only gentle kindness and care- no, to KNOW they will.

And for the giant to see this tiny being, this person who by all rights should be terrified of them, and to be so very touched by how completely trusting and loving they are; to know that this beloved little love of theirs knows just how frightening and dangerous they could be, but pays that no mind, because they adore them.

The closeness that comes from a trust and understanding like that, the gentle comfort of a love so strong....its so wonderful a concept. A giant who could be such a source of fear instead being nothing but enveloping comfort and love, and a tiny who could be so insignificant instead seeming as big as the world itself when it comes to importance to their beloved; and the vulnerability, trust and gentleness both have with each other...... ;-;
