東京を拠点に活動する首藤陽太郎とNOEL-KITによるユニット。 2010年12月、TokyoMaxUsersGroupでのライブセッションを機に、DUB-Russellとして本格的に活動を開始。2011年にはオンラインレーベル”+MUS”から”Grasp Echoes”、翌2012年には”Prank Poles”をリリースし、自作の音楽ソフトウェア”HSU-001″および”HSU-002″を同梱した各タイトルは各方面の反響を呼び高い評価を受けた。今年2013年には、Revirth Digital Split Single 04“Gramline a.k.a. O.N.O x DUB-Russell”としてGramlineとのスプリット・シングルのリリースやJeff Mills「Where Light Ends」のリミックスを手がけるなど活動の幅を確実に広げている。ライブにおいても即興的なプロセスで多層レイヤーを織り成し、次元をねじ曲げたような強烈なビートと、その奥に見え隠れする美しいサウンドスケープを併せ持つ斬新なサウンドで圧巻のパフォーマンスを魅せる。

He started the carrier as a cornetist, but I thought out "Conduction" where generation / edited improvisation by "conduct" before long in real time and wrestled for practice against various musicians in all parts of the world.
