do you guys plan to announce the mods who are currently on board anytime soon? i think it would make many prospective members more comfortable to know who they'll be turning to with concerns in the future! thank

Hello!

Yes, we plan on getting detailed mod introductions up ASAP (though keep in mind our mod applications are still open for at least a couple more weeks, so we may not have our whole team yet.)

For now, if you’re on desktop, you can see the mods’ names, ages, pronouns, and Twitter handles from the tab to the left of the header image. If you’re on mobile, we’re working on a fix, but here’s the list:

what’s poppingggg, aUUUUUGH, star children?

The interest in Luceneda, and the feedback we’ve received over the week or so has been very helpful for us! You all bring up some very good and valid points in our questionnaires, and are helping the mods iron out what kind of an approach we want to take for this group. With that in mind, this is just a quick little reminder that:

If you have any questions, concerns, comments, etc. that you’d like to send to us for answers, explanations, or anything of the sort- please feel free to do so! We’ll reply as quickly as we can. Feedback of any kind is very appreciated and very vital to this brainstorming process! We want Luceneda to open as smoothly as possible, and really get a feel for the kinds of things the potential community of Lucenda is interested in seeing in a MFRP.

Questions/concerns aren’t limited to just lorekeeping, world building, and things like that! They can extend to, but are not limited to:

Our blog layout, aesthetic, text size, etc. We want to make sure the tumblr is readable and accessible from any and all platforms. I know (speaking just for myself right now) that I have trouble navigating some blogs, and we want to make sure ours is easy to get around in!

Are our documents readable and accessible! Are they too vague, should we be more in depth, are they too in depth.

A good chunk of our mod team consists of rookie moderators! If you are/were a moderator for a MFRP and you have suggestions for us/are willing to give us ideas and/or tips and tricks on how to get this ship sailing, don’t be afraid to reach out or drop a message!

All we ask is that you’re polite when you’re tossing questions, concerns, etc. our way! We’ll eventually have an FAQ up to prevent repeat questions, but until then! Don’t worry about sending repeats. We won’t be mad!

Top of the morning or night to you, starchildren!

We have gotten some fantastic feedback from you all and it has helped us gain a feel for what is/isn’t preferred and where interest lies. We aren’t ready to reveal the setting details or specifics to you (and probably won’t be for awhile), but we do want to share the information that we have gathered and give you an idea of what things may look like OOC so you can have it in mind as more is revealed. Also, and this is probably one of the most important parts of this post actually - there is a second survey! The feedback we have gotten dictates the need to follow-up on some questions to help establish some boundaries so we can have an idea of “hey, this is what folks are and aren’t okay with when it comes to ___” while brainstorming and writing content. Having that type of information in-mind during pre-prep is extremely helpful, so we would appreciate you doing the second survey to help us out!

One last thing before we jump into it  - mod applications are still open and will be open for awhile! We’ve gotten several and to those who have done it so far, you are absolutely amazing! We’re keeping it open for about a month, so for those of you who are on the fence, thinking about it or would like to mod but are nervous about applying because of commitments such as college or other things going on in your current schedule, please know you have plenty of time and that this group will be in development for at least a couple of months. Also, don’t sweat it! It’s a pretty casual application, honestly. We’ll start reaching out to folks in the coming weeks! Here’s the mod application form again!

Anyhow, onto the information:

This group will require members to make seperate accounts for each muse they make! On the application, as you can probably expect, you will need to put the Discord account and tag for that muses account. If you want to have multiple accounts up at once, please check out SessionBox! We’ll be linking out resources to help out with stuff like this in the future to help potential newcomers to the platform.

Also to the cool person who asked about if this is an OC or Canon group, it is both! We will be accepting both OCs and Canons.

Reserves will last one week with a three day extension and hiatuses will last one month with extensions being given on a case by case basis (for example if your family has an emergency or you have something medical going on, that would more than warrant a hiatus extension).

Activity checks will be conducted every 6 weeks/about every month and a half! Every 4 weeks (a month) feels a little too frequent and every 8 weeks (two months) seems a little too long, so we’re doing every 6 weeks to strike a balance! Everyone will be informed of when an activity check is going to be conducted and we might set up a calendar with the activity check weeks marked for easy reference - you must have been active at some point during at least three of those weeks to pass the check. Activity checks aren’t meant to make you (or us) stress! If you’re ever worried about not making an activity check, or aren’t sure how to get involved, please reach out.

There will be a three muse limit at the group start that will slowly be raised to four and then five as time progresses. There are a few reasons for this! The first reason is so the mod team doesn't get overloaded at the group start - we’re humans too and we don’t want to burn out. The second reason to give the mod team a chance to iron out any kinks that pop up (let’s face it, things pop up all the time) without too much strain. The third reason is to give you, the players, a chance to evaluate your limits and not get burnt out early on. And the final reason is that there is likely to be a progression focus in some regard and we want folks to really think about apping muses that they’d like to stick with for a good chunk of time.

Triggers and sensitive subjects must be tagged, spoilered and posted in NSFW channels - however, minor mentions of a potential triggering/sensitive subject, with it tagged and spoilered of course, may be mentioned in general channels if relevant to a discussion.

On that note, this will be an 18+ only group! This gives the mod team an easier time regulating some things and that’s where the general comfort level is.

Death will have consequences in this group! What kinds of consequences has yet to be determined. Go check out the second survey to give feedback on that!

There will be dice rolls in this group! What the dice will be rolled on has yet to be determined. Again, check out the second survey to give feedback on that!

Finally...level-ups will be based on experience gathered from completing quests/tasks/events! You’ll likely be submitting stuff for a said quest/task/event and then being granted the associated experience. We’ll also likely be relying on you, the player, to keep track of how much experience you have gained and from where when it comes to level-up time.

Again, there is a follow-up survey! We’re asking for some details on a few questions we asked last time and asking some new questions. Please go check it out if you haven’t already and give the mod application a shot if you’re thinking about it! For real, the next post will probably be mod introductions and some setting details.

Hello, starchildren! 

We are very happy to announce Luceneda, a Discord-based MFRP based around the concept of being from the stars themselves and being reincarnated from them! We’re grateful for you taking the time to look at this post - it contains some very important information and a way for you to help contribute to where our journey takes us!

First and foremost, this MFRP is currently a WIP! There is only a basic premise and a name as of right now. This is where you come in! We’d like to hear from people who are interested in this about what they’d like in a premise like this, how they’d like certain things handled and answer some questions! This way, we can work together to help create a setting that fits players interests and focused on elements that are relevant.
