I had really hoped that Cody vs Seth 4 would be a main event for a big show. I wanted it to be one on one with no interferences. I guess that’s why I am so against Seth cashing in on Cody atm

I just had a vision of Cody vs Cena. There’s a moment during the match where Seth cashes in to make the match a triple threat. But Roman returns to stop him. Then Cody vs Cena continues a bit with Cody beating Cena. Roman gets revenge not just for WM41 but for the night Seth cashed in on him during his match with Lesnar. 🤔

Now personally, I don’t want Seth to cash in on Cody at SummerSlam and succeed. I’m really hoping for a CodyPunk night two main event. But if Seth does cash in and succeed, I can see Cody winning the Chamber to face Seth at Mania.

I’d love for Seth to go to cash in on Cody but he doesn’t succeed naturally by Cody beating him. What I can see and what I am not eager to see is another Cody main event at SummerSlam being used as a vehicle for a Roman return. Obviously Roman would be stopping Seth.

I love the way Cody has two men that he’s bound to go up against. The tension between him and Seth from only seeing each other three times since Mania is palpable. Then there’s the tension between him and Punk, who’s chasing who, who’s rubbing, is electric!

Cody and Seth have had three meetings since WrestleMania 40. All three were so very different.

I imagine Cody was a bit hurt that Seth doubted him, warned him not to accept Rock’s offer. So naturally, Cody had to point out that Seth’s already been compromised. I think not just because of Seth’s past but he isn’t blind about Seth’s hatred toward Punk.

The second time, Seth is compromised at last. But Seth thinks he’s doing the right thing. Cody is disappointed. The goodness he saw in Seth has been pushed aside. There’s the old Seth, the one that hated him, pushing through to the surface. But he doesn’t want to fight Seth. And Seth doesn’t want to hurt Cody either. He remembers the feelings they shared.

The third time there’s more rage. Cody has seen enough. Seth has gone after Punk so many times, but now, he’s going after his close friend Jey! Cody doesn’t want to fight. He remembers the good times they had. But this Seth, this is no longer the Seth that was his Shield. This Seth was the one he met when he returned to WWE. And that breaks his heart.

Imagine the feeling of new love with Seth back during the build to WM40. But then let’s say a break happens. Maybe an unwanted one from one side. Punk comes back and showers Cody with love and praise. Cody remembers his old crush on Punk. But he keeps it as a friendship. Seth’s upset that Cody is even being friends with Punk but also worried that Cody is in love with Punk. Punk thinks Cody is naive for thinking Seth was any good for him but also unsure about Cody’s feelings for Seth. LIKE THAT TRIANGLE (MAYBE THROUPLE I HAVENT DECIDED YET) IS SO GOOD
