hello, hello, and welcome, one and all, to The Years of Inkwell: 2025! (the first ever, in fact!)

now, first things first: what is TYOI? well, simple! TYOI / YOI is a year- / twelve-month 'long', deadlineless Cuphead fandom event. it has no deadline, no hard requirements or restrictions on what type of content you're allowed to make - whether that be fanfiction, fanart, cosplay, fanvids, pmvs / fanmade music videos, animatics, animations, memes, picrews, gacha life/club, et cetera - this event is allll about waking the cuphead fandom back up again, via encouraging cuphead fans of all types to start creating / engaging in the fandom's community spaces!

right now, the 'plan' for this is that i (@x-lee-cya , the creator of YOI) will create a new set of prompts roughly every new year-ish, and then release them every june. (hopefully.) (clarification: just because i've released a new set of prompts does not mean you can't use a previous year's prompts! by all means, go ahead!! this is, after all, a deadlineless event.) this year is the first year i've ever done this / YOI's first year, so please go easy on me if the prompts are shite, m'kay? /silly these plans are still tentative, and very well may change! maybe even heavily! (either way, we'll all see what happens once 2026 comes around.)
