it looks liek littlecourse has calmed down and we're all being normal about it but i kinda wanna put my two cents in as a child alter whose been with the system since we were a child (im getting help from caretaker on this one so this is his thoughts too)

i feel like the littlecourse stuff is a symptom of the bigger thing system spaces tend to do which is only see alters as like... their role bascially. lots of stereotyping. littles are childish kids. caretakers are nice and warm. protectors are mean. persecutors are really mean. stuff like that.

but thats not how this works. im a persecutor, so is caretaker. we're both more than that though, thats kinda the whole point of DID, that we're more than just that thing. just like every person is different, every alter is different.

even within our system, different child alters have different abilities and stuff. i would never want to, but i have enough brain power and stuff to understand what things im doing, something real life kids aren't able to do. but some of the tother kids in the system can't do that. we're all different.

im actually the youngest child in our system, but im probably the most mature (barring maybe vinnie, who'se the oldest child). because thats just what i am. im still like, 5 or something. i dont act like it all the time.

idk maybe listen to child parts when they tell you how they want to be treated.
